"I apologize for the wait, miss Noir. I hope you do understand that in this job, we work in such a busy schedule that it's hard to keep every appointment on time. Especially since, unlike many of my colleagues, I don't fell like cutting off a patient when he finally opens up."
Helena Noir is standing on the treshold, dressed in her usual casual clothes, a pair of tight blue jeans and a black sweatshirt, the long raven-black hair tied back. She steps inside the room and hangs her coat on the rack standing next to the frosted glass sliding door. Doctor Brown leaves his place behind the desk to greet Helena with an handshake. He eventually leans outside the door, while Helena takes a closer look to the room. A remarkable number of frames enlist the doctor's illustrious career. Two degrees, various certificates, attendance certificates to numerous conferences. A simple wall clock hangs over a cabinet, placed right behind a the solid wood desk. Right to it, an elegant black leather couch, and a small woodden table.
"Barbara, take all my calls. If they ask about me, tell them I'm out of town, and I will call them back as soon as I can"
As the secretary gives him a nod, Doctor Brown closes the door and invites Helena to take a seat on the couch.
"Anything to drink, miss Noir? A black coffee maybe?"
"You know I never say no to a cup of coffee"
She replies with a smile. The doctor walks to his desk and pushes a button on the phone.
"Barbara, would you bring us two cups of coffee, please? Black."
He then sits in front of Helena Noir.
"Things didn't went your way in your match in Charlotte..."
"It's fine doc. It sucks, but I landed on my feet. I always do."
A gorgeous brunette enters the room, holding a tray with two finely decorated porcelain cups, quickling walking away after placing them on the small table.
"I can tell. I looked back at your past, at least the part that's public. It amazes me how you have always been able to weather through all the storms that hit you in your life. Like when you left your country, your friends, your family, your step-brother... How old were you again? Sixteen?"
"I see what you're doing here. I can save you time telling that these shrink tricks are not going to work with me. That's not what I'm here for."
"I apologize miss Noir. But allow me to tell you that, coming from a ten years long experience, things like these will eventually take their toll, especially if one keeps pushing them deep down in the bends of his mind, without externalize them, to save the appearance of being a strong person, which, I perfectly get it, is crucial in this sport."
The doctor takes off his glasses and stares at the woman sitting in front of him for some seconds, almost giving her some time to reconsider the offer. The confident, icy smile convinces him that this just won't be the case.
"But I see you're doing fine after all. Back to us, there's this one thing I always wanted to ask about what you call in ring psychology..."

8:30 a.m.
Sitting in the black leather chair inside the Victory's promo room, Helena Noir is ready to address once again her upcoming match. Not only the location is the same as the previous time, but so is the confidence Helena is displaying, unchanged despite the loss in her debut match. A loss that she already stated she considerd nothing but a lucky break from her opponent. A match that she had almost won, until Brooklyn Skye came from out of nowhere and took the pinfall.
"Well, here I am, take two on my career in Victory. In this business, you don't get second chances too often. I lost my debut match, a match I dominated like I said I would, a match that I had in my pocket. But congratulations to Brooklyn for winning the bout after connecting one move. I should be mad, but that's the game we are playing. One big move and everything changes.
Nonetheless, here we are tonight, winners and losers all back to square one. Like whatever happened two weeks ago doesn't really matter. And that's exactly what I needed. A chance to make it up for my mistakes and clean my name from that undeserved loss. Or so I thought. Until I saw the match I was booked in. If there's anything I hate more than a three way match, that's a FOUR way match! Throw a ladder in the mix and there you have it. Chaos."
Shaking her head, she keeps talking.
"Call me a traditionalist, but I'm all for one on one contests. Give me anyone in this roster, man or woman, and you will see them tapping out in the middle of the ring. But tonight, this is a whole different story. I get it, this is what the fans want to see.. Action so fast the announcer will struggle to call it, bodies flying everywhere, steel ladders bent in half just like the hopes of those unfortunate enough to get driven through them, absolute carnage. And then, someone like Brooklyn Skye who has spent the whole match watching the other wrestlers fighting from a safety distance, reaping the fruits of their labor. Stealing one.”
A crack on Helena's frosty and almost emotionless composure. She's biting her lips, showing that she's clearly not over what happened on Victory 1.
“But that's what we are given right? And we are supposed to make the best of it, for a chance at the Victory Championship, the most coveted prize in this company. The undeniable proof that you are indeed the best, the top competitor. Something that I know will fit me just fine. Come on now, hang whatever you want twenty feet above the ring, fill the entire Arena with ladders, throw whoever you want in my way. It won't change the fact that I'll be the one walking into Revolution with a shot at gold. And you better not trust anyone who tells you differently. I know for sure that my opponents will feel the same way. Hell, they shouldn't be here if that wasn't the case! I have a rough idea of what each and everyone of them will say, or already did. Someone will probably point out that I have an awful record when it comes to fight more than one opponent at the time.”
Chuckling a bit, she crosses her legs on the chair.
“That's true actually, no one can deny it. You can't lie to records, right? But, for what is worth, there's one thing those records don't show. I have never been the one actually losing the match. My shoulders weren't the one on the mat, my hand wasn't the one tapping out. I have always been THIS CLOSE to come out on top. That HAS to mean something, right? I went back on it, watched the tapes over and over again hoping to find the exact moment where things took the south road, the instant were I fucked up. And I finally founded it.”
A smile lights up her face.
“I always tried to dominate the chaos that inevitably comes with these particular stipulations, to sistematically take out all the threats, one after the other. And I could very well do just the same tonight, looking at my opponents. There's Tiami Erickson, which I already prove I can beat inside a ring. Not much to add here, we all remember how I planted her face on the canvas just two weeks ago. Do I really need to repeat myself and say that you have proven throughout all your career that you can't stand up for yourself? That, without a tag partner carrying your ass inside a ring, you're just a pretty face with a couple of moves, nothing anyone should really worry about. I am better than you in so many aspects Tiami, but, hey? You want to prove me wrong? Be my guest darling, give it a try. But you can't honestly expect any different outcome than me sweeping the ring with your red hair.
Then we have Caleb Houston. Quite an interesting guy I might say. But unlike your buddy, JT Midas, you are stuck in mediocrity. And don't blame politics, or the fact that your commendable attitude of always voicing your ideas even, or especially, when in contrast with authority kept you down. I did that a lot, and it never stopped my career. The biggest problem with you is... YOU.
See Caleb, you are the one to blame for how your career flushed down a toilet. You're the only one that stopped yourself from raising to the top, every single time. Your loud mouth is just the tip of the iceberg of everything that's wrong with you. It's amazing how you ALWAYS find a way to screw things up. It's almost like if a part of you rejects opportunities when they present, instead of just taking them. You fight hard to earn a chance, and then you just chicken out, because deep down you know you don't deserve it. That you're not worthy. Why should this time be any different uh? Another chance to ascend to the next level, one more chance for you to fuck it up. Why don't you do us all a favour and call yourself out from this match? One less thing to be worried about.”
Her long black hair cover her face as she lowers her head.
“I have a feeling that this match will pretty much be a private affair between you and me, Aiden. I remember you kid. At New Wave, Legacy's last event. I fought in a dark match, then decided to take a look at the rest of the show. And there you were, standing tall over PerZag and Raven, raising the title over your head. You even cried maybe, dedicating the victory to your son, I don't actually remember. What I remember is me saying to myself that if you managed to become Champion, taking that title away from you shouldn't be that hard.
Don't get me wrong, you're good kid. You proven it, you can definitely back up your words. And this is your kind of match, isn't it? You enjoy these ladder wars, you love to please the crowd by jumping from the top of them, get down in records as the highlight of the night, have everyone talk about how fearless and cool you are for diving in some corkscrew bullshit way on your opponents instead of doing the smart thing and just retrieve that damn prize.
I dare you to do it Aiden. Go for it, let everyone hold your breath for you while you aim for your opponent before leaping. Hear their screams while you're falling from grace crushing on nothing but canvas, because I decided to ruin your five minutes of fame. And while you're laying down there, struggling to stay conscious, watch me climb that same ladder and make my way into Revolution's main event.”
In one of her most common gestures, she tides her hair backwards.
“I can't control chaos, I get it now. It's just like a river, you can only watch it flow. And if needed, intervene to change its course, preventing it from breaking the banks and destroy everything you worked so hard for. My gameplan is simple, walking in and deliver as much pain as I am capable, watching you take all the unnecessary risks coming from playing with ladders. And well the dust of war will finally set down on the battlefield, on your injured bodies, I'll make my ascent to the spot i deserve.
Sofie slips out of her door and closes it behind her, catching Aiden before he knocks on the door. Her expression is a little frustrated as she half smiles at him, keeping her voice low as she leans in and kisses him quickly.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "Hey..."
He places his hands on her hips as he peers into her eyes and he can see she's upset.
Aiden Morrow: "Hey babe, what's going on?"
Aiden frowns as he sees Sofie’s demeanor and she shakes her head slightly before she looks back towards the door with a frown of her own.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "Well, the apartment is too small, it's not in a nice neighborhood, the school seems subpar to NY oh and my hair makes me look trashy..."
She half laughs.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: ”It's been an hour."
She pulls a face before shaking her head.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "But, it's fine... are you okay?"
Aiden’s fists had started to clench as Sofie went over everything that's been said to her and it's clearly upsetting him. But when she asks if he's okay, his hands open back up and he lets out a sigh as he smiles and nods his head.
Aiden Morrow: "I'm fine, just worried about you now. You don't need this crazy negativity."
She shrugs and leans in to kiss him again.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "It's just my dad being himself.... I'm kinda used to it by now, it's been a year so he has a lot to complain about I guess."
She looks up at him with wide eyes.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "You sure you're okay.. I'm far more worried about you than I am anything happening in there."
He grabs her hand and interlocks his fingers with hers.
Aiden Morrow: "I'm fine. Let's just get through tonight, yeah?"
She nods slowly squeezing his hand, she turns towards the door and back again to look at him, giving him a much longer kiss with a stronger intent, leaning into him for a moment before pulling back.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I love you.”
He leans in and kisses her before leaning back and squeezes her hand and smiles to reassure her that everything will be alright.
Aiden Morrow: "I love you too.”
Sofie opens the door and pushes it shut behind them, the click of the door announcing their presence and her father is the first to turn.
Robert Moore: "Ah, we're finally getting your presence as requested?"
Sofie frowns slightly.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "Sorry... My fault I-"
Robert holds up a hand and she stops talking with a side glance at Aiden as her father steps forward and looks him up and down, clearly waiting for him to introduce himself. Aiden forces a really good fake smile as he extends his hand and shakes Sofie's fathers hand. Aiden is wearing a short sleeve shirt which he did on purpose, exposing his arms that are covered in sleeves of tattoos.
Aiden Morrow: "Hey, I'm Aiden! Nice to finally meet you."
Sofie’s father's eyes travel up and down Aiden's arms with a disapproving glare, shaking Aiden's hand firmly.
Robert Moore: "Robert."
He doesn't say anything else directly, but as he turns away he mutters.
Robert Moore: "Explains the hair..."
Sofie looks to her mom who shakes her head at her father, stepping around him she leans in to give Aiden a warm hug.
Catherine Moore: "Oh it's nice to finally meet you too, Sofie hasn't stopped talking about you!"
He accepts the hug from her mom with a smile on his face despite the negativity reaction from Robert.
Aiden Morrow: "She hasn't huh? Well I'm nothing too special compared to your daughter. Seriously, Sofie is great."
Sofie blushes and looks down clearly a little embarrassed by their exchange as her mother smiles warmly at Aiden.
Catherine Moore: "Well, anyone who can have her all up in the clouds you do, is someone special I assure you."
Sofie looks up at smiles at Aiden as her father just stands in the distance watching them, Sofie looks up at her dad with a small smile
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "Aiden's in the business dad, remember I told you... like uncle rick and Lennox and Rob..."
She frowns slightly trying to engage him but only gets another scoff.
Robert Moore: "Explains a lot."
He states it flippantly. Aiden looks over at Robert, his brow is furrowed as he looks him up and down for a moment.
Aiden Morrow: "Explains a lot of what exactly? I'd love to hear it."
Robert scoffs and folds his arms over his chest
Robert Moore: "The changes in Sofie, this ridiculous notion that she can continue her training out here, the hair... All of it."
He Waves a hand up and down at Aiden with a disapproving glance
Robert Moore: "And, you... What are you? 21? 22? Already think you can take on the world... but what have you done for it son, hmm? Nothing I'll wager, just like my brother and his school... churning out more and more self entitled, selfish individuals who only want to get rich or make it big..."
He turns to look at Sofie with a shrug.
Robert Moore: "You couldn't find someone at the mission to date, since you seem so determined to disappoint me....?"
Aiden lets out a light laugh and shakes his head.
Aiden Morrow: "Wow, explains a lot."
He quips back before he chuckles and grabs Sofie's hand with his, trying his best to keep her calm. Sofie squeezes his hand with a look at him and a small smile, taking a breath she looks back at her dad with a sigh.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "Dad, please.. Aiden isn't selfish and I'm still doing my mission work.."
Her father rolls his eyes at them both and goes to say something else but her mother interjects.
Catherine Moore: "maybe we should go and get something to eat? Hmm?"
Her father shakes his head, looking down at Sofie with a frown.
Robert Moore: "Do you have any idea what the girls at the mission in my church are doing? The time they dedicate... You gallivant around and ignore my wishes..."
He shakes his head.
Robert Moore: "I raised you better than... this."
He nods his head in Aiden's direction and she grits her jaw with a defiant look before just shaking her head and looking at Aiden.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I'm sorry."
She smiles at him, her first genuine smile since coming in the room
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I'd like to apologize for my father since he apparently left his manners in New York..."
Sofie looks back at her dad with an arched brow, but before she can finish he interrupts her.
Robert Moore: "Respect is earned, neither of you deserve that."
Aiden scoffs at the notion that they haven't earned respect as he steps a few feet in front of Sofie, walking closer towards Robert.
Aiden Morrow: "You're really that self-absorbed in your own little world, aren't you? Instead of making judgments for what's in here..."
Aiden points at his chest.
Aiden Morrow: "You instead look at the outside appearances. You judge Sofie by her hair and me by my tattoos and choice of work."
He holds out his arms, showing off his tattoos basically.
Aiden Morrow: "But what you don't realize is that I'm not some punk kid who does drugs and gets wasted. I have a three year old son that I work hard to take care of. I worked construction while training to become a wrestler, while also being a single father for the majority of my son's life. You really think I'm a wrestler for the money or the fame? Far from it. I'm in it to provide a future for my son and to do something that he could be proud of... To be a hero for him and for a million other kids out there by setting an example and doing things the right way. I bet you've never watched any videos involving me and my career, right? Because if you did, you wouldn't make assumptions about who I am and what I stand for."
Aiden steps back and grabs Sofie's arm and interlocks it with his.
Aiden Morrow: "As for Sofie? Who cares about her going against YOUR wishes. That's all you care about is what your wishes are. What about her wishes? What about what she wants to do? How could you not be proud of her juggling her mission work along with taking on a double major while passing all of her classes with flying colors? So what if she wants to continue to train to be a wrestler? Whatever she ends up doing, it's going to be better than what you do; which is apparently being in your own little world, judging everyone else for their actions that don't appease you. Who died and made you God? Who gives you the right to compare Sofie to other girls in your mission? You're not here to see what she does, so you know what? I don't cuss much, which probably surprises you... But fuck you."
Aiden turns towards Sofie's mother and smiles.
Aiden Morrow: "Thanks for the dinner offer, but Sofie and I are going to have to pass. We already have plans."
He smiles and shrugs before putting his arm around Sofie's shoulder. Sofie stands quietly for a moment, looking up at her father whose face is turning a deep shade of red, she leans into Aiden and takes a breath before looking up at her father.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I love you dad, I have spent my entire life trying to be enough for you..."
Sofie shakes her head.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "But I'm not going to live like that anymore."
Sofie looks at Aiden with a smile.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "Aiden just stood here and laid it all out for you, he showed honur and bravery and and..."
She stops to catch herself and think through her words.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "And if that's not enough for you then I'm sorry, but it's more than enough for me."
She looks to her mom and smiles.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I'm really glad you came mom... and I think maybe we should let everyone take a breath, go back to your hotel and settle in and I'll call you later?"
She looks back at her dad with a frown.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: ”Maybe whilst you're there, you could find the man who raised me and not the preacher who thinks everything in life has to be a lesson?"
Robert pauses for a moment before looking at Aiden, he visibly bites down on his jaw as though holding back what he wants to really say.
Robert Moore: I've seen plenty of what you do..."
He laughs softly.
Robert Moore:“In case you missed who my family are, I know this industry better than you could possibly imagine and anyone in it, will never be good enough for my daughter."
He turns to talk past them and holds the door open for her mother, signalling her to leave.
Aiden waves goodbye.
Aiden Morrow: "See you, folks later. It was lovely meeting you."
He then looks over to Sophie and starts to full on make out with her to piss her dad off even more. When the door clicks closed Sofie pulls back with a small smile, she places her hands on his cheeks and shakes her head.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I'm so.. so sorry..."
Aiden simply smiles as he places his hands on her lower back and pulls her into him.
Aiden Morrow: "Don't be. I love you and I'm always going to stand up for you against anyone who tries to bring you down. Even your dad."
She places her hands on his shoulders with a small smile and a nod.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I love you... and I, I can't begin to express how much everything you just said means to me but..."
She frowns.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "You shouldn't have to explain or validate your life to anyone... Especially not my dad."
Aiden Morrow: "Are you saying that I can just knock his teeth out next time instead?"
He smirks and Sofie laughs softly and shakes her head "
Sofie Taylor-Moore: That would be very unchristian…”
She smirks slightly.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "And kinda hot... but no, you probably shouldn't do that..."
Aiden Morrow: "Fine, fine!"
He leans in and steals a kiss before leaning back and grinning as he peers into her eyes.
Aiden Morrow: "I love everything about you and I'm so proud of you. I'll never judge you, Sof. Never. You're the best."
She smiles and runs a hand down his back, before leaning in and kissing him softly, sighing almost into the kiss....
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I love you too..."
She bites her bottom lip and looks up into his eyes.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "So um, what did you wanna talk about? Before....?"
He sighs and shakes his head.
Aiden Morrow: "It's nothing. I'm just sorry I added stress to you again with the whole Paz thing. It's done with, I promise."
She shakes her head and kisses him, her hand travelling up his back as she leans into him again
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I won't lie and say it doesn't bother me, because it does but..."
She shrugs slightly and laughs at herself.
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "It's for my own, silly reasons, not anything big or stressful..."
She tilts her head and looks into his eyes
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "After what you did today, I feel silly even thinking it."
Aiden Morrow: "I understand if it bothers you but I promise that it's over. When the dust settles a bit, I'm going to calmly talk to Paz and tell her we can't talk anymore. Not until I... deal with my own demons... And until she can stop being petty too."
He kisses Sofie on the lips before gazing into her eyes.
Aiden Morrow: "But seriously, I'm in love with you and you're the only one for me. There's seriously no one else for me, alright?"
She smiles a warm genuine smile and kisses him, gently at first as her whole body leans into him the kiss becomes more definite, her hands holding onto the back of his neck and his shoulder as she kisses him more and more passionately before finally breaking away with a small gasp...
Sofie Taylor-Moore: "I know it, and you are all I want in this world."
[On Camera] [First Time] [10:00 PM on 12/9/16] [Charlotte, NC]
The scene opens up with Aiden Morrow standing under a giant ladder that’s smack dab in the middle the wrestling ring inside the Victory Arena that he’s going to be wrestling in tomorrow. Aiden has on a light brown pullover with a black leather jacket on over it, along with a pair of blue jeans. His hands are in his pockets as he looks up above the ring where the contract for a shot at Victory Championship will be hanging. Aiden’s head drops and his eyes fixate on the camera filming him and as smile creeps up on his face.
Aiden Morrow: ”We’re one day away from one of the biggest matches of my career. I can say I’ve been here before… That I’ve been in a match with this much at stake and on the line and you know what? Some people would think it’s true. I had to scrap and claw in Legacy Wrestling to become the number one contender, overcoming odds that were constantly put in my way; which included fighting and surpassing several in-ring veterans to get where I wanted to go. Eventually, I beat Perzag and Alexander Raven, two men who have been doing this wrestling thing for a long time, for the Legacy Championship. Sadly, due to things out of my own control. Legacy Wrestling inexplicably closed and a lot of people think that all of my hard work went to waste.”
He steps forward from under the ladder and leans over the ropes, keeping his eyes focused on the camera.
Aiden Morrow: ”But that’s where I’ll tell you that you’re wrong. As each week passed, I learned something new about myself and I even learned from my opponents. Whenever they one-upped me in a certain way, I studied that and learned to either counter it or do it myself. More than anything, I’m a student of this game and I always will be. Some people think that if you’ve been doing this for awhile that you don’t need to keep working to get better but that’s not true. We constantly need to challenge ourselves and when it comes to this Four-Way Ladder Match? I’ve challenged myself harder than I ever have before.”
He pauses and nods confidently.
Aiden Morrow: ”While I’ve had some tough, high-stake matches over in Legacy, I’ve never experienced a battle like this. Not only do I have three other opponents that I’m going up against but I also have to deal with the fact that this is a ladder match. Sure, I trained under Flex Johnson and Blyss Lockhart, two long-time pros who have had their fair share of ladder matches and they’ve taught me everything they know about it; especially this week where I practiced against a few students in their dojo in this ladder match setting. While I came out on top against them, practicing against students isn’t the same as fighting three professional wrestlers who have been doing this for longer than I have it seems.”
“Sure, I have the ability to fly and take risks but I’ve never fought in a real ladder match. This is my first time ever and some people might say that could put me at a disadvantage but I’d like to argue the contrary. I think it’s great that I haven’t been in this match because I haven’t had to deal with the chaos and the pain that comes with this kind of match. While I’ve always taken a fearless aproach with me to the ring, there’s still not going to be a moment in the back of my head where I think, ‘remember when this happened to you? What if it happens again?’ That’s something some people have to deal with but not me.”
Aiden looks back at the ladder and smiles.
Aiden Morrow: ”That ladder there behind me? It scares a lot of people but it doesn't scare me. I've watched all the I can and I've listened to every story imaginable and I'm going into this thing with my head held high. Could this kind of match kill my career? Well when you think about it, your career, even your life could come crashing down to a terrible end in any kind of match. But speaking of hearing stories, let me start off by talking about Tiami Tyler.”
“While many people here in Victory might not know a whole lot about Tiami, I know some of her history. I remember her having a heated battle with Chris Night over three years ago and she fought him in a match in Inferno Wrestling and lost… And I hate to sound bad, but it wasn't pretty. After that, she kind of went radio silent and disappeared. Now she's back here in Victory and her start here wasn't too great. She was an afterthought in her match last week before she ended up losing.”
“Does that mean I see her as an afterthought though? Of course not. No matter who's in the ring with me, I take them seriously, which is why I took time out of my day to scout her as much as I could. Not only did I get advice about Tiami Tyler from Chris Night but he also taught me a lot about ladders. While Chris is well known for running #FSociety and being a former heavyweight champion, what he's most well known for is being one of the best damn teachers in wrestling.”
“There's been a few top champions he's trained and before Ally Morrow had her recent match with him, she trained a few times with Chris too, learning everything there is to know from him. But that's how serious I take this match. I sought out a guy who's known for dominating in this kind of match while also being known for being one of the best teachers in the game. I bet you're wondering, ‘what did he tell you, Aiden?’ But the thing is, I can't give away trade secrets before a match.”
He grins and nods before continuing on.
Aiden Morrow: ”Then there's the mouthiest opponent I have in this match and that's Caleb Houston. Just a few weeks ago he was stomping his feet, crying about how his match with PerZag should be the main event because the match received the most votes to have a stipulation. But you know what? The match should've been voted to having tjs biggest buzzkill of the night. Despite all the hype, PerZag and Caleb both looked lethargic and Caleb looked like his mind was elsewhere. I mean, when a guy like Caleb is on, he's nearly unstoppable but when he gets quiet and he looks out of it? He loses to practically everyone.”
“While that might sound harsh, it's pretty much the truth and Caleb didn't look good at all against PerZag, the man I pinned to become Legacy Champion a month and a half ago. I think all of those things give me the edge over Caleb, along with his piss poor attitude. The guy is known for having amazing highs and then terrible lows and I hate to say it, but it looks like he's back to going to his terrible lows; which sucks considering that I was looking forward to getting in the ring with him after all the trash he's talked to me the last month. But come tomorrow, he's going to have to back it up and history tells us that our of Caleb and I? Only one of us consistently backs up what we say and it's me.”
He smiles as he leans off the ropes and stands in front of the steps of the ladder.
Aiden Morrow: ”Last but definitely not least, we’ve got Helena Noir. You had an impressive showing two weeks ago at the debut show but sadly, you came up short. Come to think of it, you, Tiami and Caleb all came up short last week. While you looked great two weeks ago, Helena, it's obvious you lost because you expended all of you energy in that last match. You came out on fire and then quickly fizzled out. Will the same thing happen to you this go around? Will you flame out even quicker now that there's even more factors in this match compared to the one you had last time?”
“I appreciate that you think that this match is going to come down between you and me. It means unlike certain folks in our match like Caleb Houston, you respect my abilities. You know, I remember watching your dark match in Legacy a month and a half ago and seeing you make someone tap out. I was impressed. And now here you are, despite losing in your very next match, you have an opportunity to become one of the number one contenders for the Victory Championship. How quickly you've risen.”
“While you may have lost that match two weeks ago, that doesn't mean I think you're a walk in the park. I honestly do think you're going to be the toughest challenge in this match for me and the toughest challenge I've had in Victory so far. You fight with fire and compassion but I'm just afraid that you might be holding onto small victories. Instead of talking about how you need to improve after your loss, you talked about how you dominated and then lost. This sport isn't about moral victories… It’s about dusting yourself off and learning from your mistakes.”
“Did you learn from last week? I don't think that it did. I think that's why you brushed by Tiami in your promo because you think that you got her covered since you dealt with her last week. But maybe she learned some things about you since then? Ever think of that? But no, all of your focus is on Caleb and me. While I'm flattered. I think you need to cover all of your bases. I also found it amusing when you reflected back to that last night in Legacy where you watched me raise the Legacy Championship in the air and you thought to yourself how you could beat me. Here’s the thing, you can think it all you want but at the end of the day, you still need to do it.”
Aiden starts to ascend up the ladder until he’s standing up near the top of it, his elbows resting on the very top.
Aiden Morrow: ”There’s one common theme going into this match and that’s all three of my opponents coming off of a loss while I’m coming off of a one-sided victory. Despite having nearly a month off between my last match in Legacy and my first match in Victory, I didn’t show any ring rust and showed that I’m still on a roll. The reason for that is because I’ve been training for this moment. I’ve been in the gym everyday, preparing for the moment to earn my way back to the top of a company and for me, that company is Victory Wrestling.”
“This place is a new start and it’s a new start for all of us. That’s why Helena has the same opportunity that i do right now, because what we did before no longer matters. We’ve started fresh and all of us are fighting for that number one spot. Only one of us in this match is going to be walking away with a shot at that Victory Championship and in a four way ladder match, the odds aren’t in your favor. But if Helena thinks that I’m going to allow her to sit back and watch while all the chaos and destruction is going on, then she’s got another thing coming.”
He smirks as he climbs to the very top of the ladder and sits down on top of it.
Aidne Morrow: ”It doesn’t matter where you go or what you do, Helena… You won’t be able to get away from me come tomorrow at Episode Two of Victory. Because with my friend here? This ladder? I’m going to be able to fly like I’ve never flown before and that gives me an advantage over you, Caleb and Tiami. While I may be skilled in the ring, athleticism and risk taking are part of my game. You and others might see that as a weakness but at the end of the day… it’s what’s going to put me over all of you.
He stands up and reaches one hand up in the air as his eyes stay fixated on the camera and eventually the screen goes black and the feed cuts out.
