Alrighty, let's hear your views - good or bad. What did we do well, what did we do badly and how can we improve?
It's the first show so I have no doubt we can always be better than we were. We obviously also had no pre-existing stories going on, so I know having those will add a lot to the show.
My only request is any talk about grading or the result of your match be kept to my inbox. Thanks.
From an OOC perspective, it was a solid debut. I will admit to being disappointed by the number of no-shows, but that's not really uncommon for a new fed. Overall we have a sturdy foundation that I hope will continue to strengthen.
Storyline points of discussion:
- Mr. Vortex caved very easily to Jackson Ford's demands, allowing him a free pass into the Victory Championship qualifying matches. Is the man in charge a pushover, or does he have some ulterior motive?
- Several upset wins took place, and there are some serious bragging rights to the winners. But will these victories be capitalized on in the coming weeks?
- We now know who will be competing for a shot at the Victory Championship. Will there be an announcement next week in regards to the Heritage Title? ==========
Overall Score: 7.0/10 While a newsworthy debut edition of Victory Wrestling, there wasn't really much that stood out. That isn't necessarily a bad thing - Everybody had something to prove and put out strong performances in their VW debuts. I've always felt the second show is more important than the first, and I'm looking forward to watching some stories develop!
For a first outing, this wasn't sub-standard at all. It set out some building blocks. Established the GM character pretty well and gave the people who did seg a moment to shine between the matches. Personally LOVE the formatting of the matches themselves. Makes reading the whole show not an exhausting affair and with my time at a premium 4 days a week, that's a GOOD thing. I can't wait to see how things roll from here into the title pictures. We really have a solid foundation to make Victory one of the best feds out there right now and that's got me truly excited!!

I reaaaally want to answer that one, but I'd have to say wait and see
For the Heritage title, it'll come. I didn't want to dump everything into the first show and have things get lost in the pile.
