Victory Wrestling Episode 001.
Victory Wrestling Episode 001.
OPENING SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Victory Studios and the first ever Victory Wrestling episode! Brad Tate, alongside Charlotte Wilson and Barry "The Shark" Richter to call all of the action here tonight!"
Charlotte Wilson: "It's finally here, Brad! We're finally on air and ready to get Victory Wrestling started. Sharky, can you feel the electricity?"
'The Shark': "I can, the crowd are going nuts, Wilson. It reminds me of why I used to love competing."
Brad Tate: "We have a stacked card here for you to enjoy tonight, folks, and honestly we could talk about it for an hour. But how about we just get things underway instead?!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Sounds good to me and-"
'The Shark': "Oh my, what's this?"
Scar Symmetry's "Chaosweaver" plays out through the arena. Victory GM, Vortex, emerges from behind the curtain, to a crowd that cheer him in the most. He walks to the ring, dressed from head to toe in a smart, blue suit. As he enters the ring, he is handed a microphone.
Vortex: "Ladies and gentleman, this is Victory Wrestling!"
The crowd cheers with much more enthusiasm.
Vortex: "I am so proud to be here tonight, to lead this fine company into our opening show and to be the man charged with forging our brand's identity and dynasty."
He smirks and licks across his lips.
Vortex: "Now, as you all know, an important part of my role is to book the matches - to literally decide who faces who. We want to wow you, we want to entertain you, we want to give you matches which will put you on the edges of your seat. But for as good as our roster is, only one can be the man or woman, the ultimate best in this company, the Victory Champion! And that brings me to today's announcement. Starting next week we will be hosting four 4-way matches, with the competitors drawn at random, with two matches next time out and two on Episode 003. The winner of each match will go through to a final 4-way, which will headline the first ever Victory Super Show: Revolution."
Vortex looks to his side as a member of the crew opens a briefcase. He reaches into the briefcase and pulls out a large championship title, which he holds aloft.
Vortex: "And the winner at Revolution will be the first ever Victory Champion!"
He crowd cheer again, and Vortex throws the title over his shoulder.
Vortex: "Now I know what you're wondering: who will be entered into the matches? Well, let me tell you-"
The lights dim down as the loudspeakers are filled with static for a few seconds before going to total silence. The fans look on in anticipation a mysterious voice resonates.
Voice: "Can't stop him..."
"Won't stop him..."
"Try to stop him..."
Alexa Rose: "Ladies and gentlemen, Dangerous by Design is proud to present: The Originator of Excellence! The Dangerous One! JAAAACKSON FOOOOORD!"
'The Shark': "Jackson Ford? Who does this idiot think he is?"
"I'm gonna hit you, right where it hurts
I'm gonna give you, everything that you deserve
If you need attention, something to say
Let's hear your confession, I am just too hard to break"
The arena goes pitch black as red and gold spotlights hit the entrance way as Jackson Ford steps out into the dual lights. Jackson looks around as the fans respond with a mixed reaction. "Bring it" by Trapt continues to play over the PA system as the lights slowly come back on.
"Are you ready for this?
Cause I've been waiting my whole life
Are you ready for this?
I am gonna get mine
Are you ready for this?
I'm taking the hardline
Are you ready for this?
You're never gonna get out alive!"
Jackson Ford makes his way down to the ring with a mix reaction from the fans. Once he reaches the ring. Jackson grabs a microphone as he climbs into the ring.
Vortex: "Who the hell do you think you-"
Jackson Ford: "Think I am? Oh, these idiots here in the arena know who exactly I am. I use to live in this god forsaken place!"
As the crowed boos. A smirk comes across Jackson’s face.
Jackson: "If you're offering title chances then you'd better believe I deserve to be in the mix!"
Vortex scoffs and shakes his head.
Vortex: "Why, because you demand it? Why would I give you, a guy who isn't even competing, a chance at all?"
Jackson: "Let me tell you a story. Several years ago up in Chicago there was a little promotion and inside that promotion there was three guys. The three guys was Aaron Blaize, Myke Adams, and yours truly we was ruthless and we forced change inside that company. We was known as the Anti-Establishment. We took what we wanted, when we wanted. I hear this talk about gold and well I demand to be in on whatever you decide to do to crown your first champ. Hell I think you should just give me the title. It will save all the agony that your lackluster roster would feel as they fall victim to the man that personifies perfection."
Vortex laughs a little, and nods.
Vortex: "Alright, big mouth. If you think you're so great then sure, I'll add you into the mix. Either I'll get to watch someone dismantle you or, just perhaps, maybe you'll prove that you're as good as you think. Either way, I win, and that's all that matters."
Vortex smirks and Jackson nods, tossing his microphone down and withdrawing to the entrance ramp.
Brad Tate: "But what about the other fifteen competitors? Who else is being entered?!"
Charlotte Wilson: "I guess we'll find out in the near future!"
Brad Tate: "Well...anyway, up next we have our first ever Victory Wrestling match, a triple threat and it's an all female bout!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Tiami, Brookyln and Helena" will all undoubtedly want to hit the ground running here today, scoring a maiden win in this opener."
'The Shark': "Without further ado, let's head to the ring."

TRIPLE THREAT
Tiami Erickson vs Brooklyn Skye vs Helena Noir
The opening bout saw all three ladies show some nice offence, with a high tempo affair. Things shifted in Helena's favour part way through, thanks to a Dalecarlian Horse to Brooklyn, knocking her out of the ring. Noir and Tiami battled, with Erickson eventually landing her Icy Flame spear, but only achieving a two count.
The pair fought on, exchanging move after move. The match came to its close when Helena landed her Ink Yo Face move and went for a pin, only for Brooklyn to leap onto both opponents with her SKYEhigh frog splash. Skye covered Tiami to pick up the win.
Victor: Brooklyn Skye (pin fall)

RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "What an upset!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Well, to some, no doubt. Brooklyn just scored a huge win."
'The Shark': "A relatively unknown, virtual rookie just showed up two women with a combined nine years of experience between them. That's a definite upset in my book."
Brad Tate: "But none can argue that Brooklyn didn't deserve her win."
Charlotte Wilson: "Agreed, so congratulations to her."
Brad Tate: "Up next, though, we have Hyde and Goode, two guys from the former Legacy Wrestling, squaring off."
'The Shark': "The smart money is surely in Hyde, whose experience dwarfs Goode. Although, Skye just showed that anything is possible."
'The Shark': "The smart money is surely in Hyde, whose experience dwarfs Goode. Although, Skye just showed that anything is possible."
ONE-ON-ONE
Mr Hyde vs Ryan Goode
This was a match that featured quit a bit of brutality on the part of Mr. Hyde. He shot out of the gates as soon as the match began and had Ryan Goode right where he wanted him throughout. Mr. Hyde showcased his violent style early on into the match with DDT’s galore and a pretty nasty set up spine buster from the second rope that only reached a two count.
The tide slowly began to turn as Ryan seemed to be finding success with a few wild haymakers and slowly crawled himself back into the fight. However, a nasty shooting super kick from Mr. Hyde was enough to wrap things up as he followed up by performing his finishing double foot stomp on Goode who was still reeling and slowly trying to find his feet after the superkick.
Screaming “Ragnarök” at the top of his lung as he finished crushing Ryan’s skull, Hyde hooked the mans leg to finish out the gruesome match with a three count.
Victor: Mr Hyde (pin fall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "There you have it folks, Mr Hyde managed to avoid a second upset of the evening and picked up a valuable debut win against Ryan."
Charlotte Wilson: "Ryan showed us a little of what he can do, but in the end Hyde's experience won the day."
Brad Tate: "Now folks, this next match is sure to be a hell of a contest."
Charlotte Wilson: "Mary-Jane Braxton and Katie Anderson. There's no love lost here. Mary-Jane is as ruthless as they come and for Katie things are personal."
'The Shark': "I can't look past Braxton here. She has the sort of arrogant drive that you see in world champions and for me that'll be the difference tonight."
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The cameras return to the backstage area, as JT Midas finishes strapping on his gloves. while leaning back against the wall. He looks up into the camera, a fierce determination in his eyes.
JT Midas: Tonight, tonight...it's a special kind of night, because tonight's the night that I go and do what I do best. Tonight's the night that I will walk down that ramp for the main event of the very first episode of Victory Wrestling. Tonight's the night that I will step into that ring with Calvin Harris and Kitty Petrova, and show the world who is the best of the best in this locker room, or any other locker room.
JT adjusts the glove on his right hand, staring down while he speaks.
JT Midas: For eight years, it's seemed like my career has always been tied to someone else's name. Whether it's Adam Stone, whether it's Kaelyn Divera...or whether it's Caleb Houston. There has always been a shadow cast over everything I have done, everything I have worked to become. Tonight, I fly out of that shadow. Tonight, I beat Calvin Harris and Kitty Petrova. Tonight...
He looks back up into the camera with a confident grin.
JT Midas: I create history.
Just as JT finishes speaking, he narrows his eyes, as he sees somebody approaching him from down the hall. He stops fiddling with his glove, realizing that the person walking towards him is none other than his friend and longtime tag team partner, Caleb Houston. The two stare at one another in silence for a moment. Then Caleb speaks.
Caleb Houston: Been a minute since I've seen you.
JT Midas: Wasn't sure if you'd wanna shake hands or throw punches.
Caleb quickly balls his right hand into a fist, not breaking his gaze for even a second. The air is tense, as the two friends feel out the situation. Then Caleb loosens his grip, and extends his hand to his friend. JT nods without shifting his focus and, after a brief moment, accepts the handshake.
Caleb Houston: Good to see you. Now if you don't mind, I've got a main event to win.
Caleb smirks as he brushes past JT, who smirks as well, as he walks the other direction and the camera shifts back to the ring.
ONE-ON-ONE
Katie Anderson vs Mary-Jane Braxton
The match began with a bang! After a small stare down in the middle of the ring, the two began to exchange fiery blows with one another. Mary-Jane was able to get the upper hand and forced Katie to the turnbuckle where she rained down a storm of left and rights. Braxton ran back to the center to charge at Katie and connected with a brutal sounding corner Enziguri. Braxton looked to follow up with a pin attempt but Anderson was able to kick out at two.
Braxton attempted to pull Anderson back to a vertical base, but Katie caught her off guard with a surprise roll-up attempt that Braxton was able to kick out of just in time. Katie took the offensive and started to wrestle control of this match away from Mary-Jane. Katie hit a series of running lariats on Braxton, gaining more and more momentum. Katie went for a third big one, but Braxton was able to duck under, bending backwards like Neo from the Matrix. This gave a couple of oohs and ahhh from the Charlotte crowd as Mary-Jane followed up her evasion with a blind pele kick that connected flush with Katie’s head. The two stayed sprawled out on the floor until MJ was able to get up and slowly pull Anderson to her feet. MJ went for a DDT, but Katie was too strong and reversed the attempt into a DDT of her own.
The two went back to trading big moves and near falls well into the match. Katie kept control and tempo of the match, maintaining her high aggression. She charged at MJ with a head full of steam, but Braxton sidestepped her and instead connected with a nasty looking snap kick to the side off Katie’s knee. Katie folded, kneeling in the ring screaming and clutching her knee. The referee intervened for a second to check on Katie’s knee, forcing Braxton to wait in a corner. Katie was slow to make it to her feet and did so with a round of applause from the Victory wrestling fans. who were happy to see that she wasn't seriously hurt. She continued the match, hobbling towards a smirking Braxton as she slowly walked out from the corner.
The two looked as if they were ready to tie up in the center of the ring, but at the last second Braxton sidestepped her again and threw a dirty cheap kick at her injured knee, causing Katie to kneel to the mat once more in pain. In a shower of boos and jeers, Braxton merely smiled as she ran to the ropes, rebounding, and sped back to the back of the kneeling Katie, firing a bullet like super kick to the back of her head - the move that MJ calls “Exit Wounds”. It was lights out for Anderson as Braxton rolled her over for the cover, and a reluctant referee made the three count.
Victor: Mary-Jane Braxton (pin fall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "And Mary-Jane has done it!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Someone check on Katie, her leg looks to be hurt."
'The Shark': "Braxton scored an impressive win there over a very Determined Anderson, displaying that cold-hearted ruthlessness she is becoming known for."
Brad Tate: "And, in the process, has undoubtedly impressed the management."
Charlotte Wilson: "No question."
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Following the contest in the ring. Cameras found themselves cutting away from the ringside area and into the backstage area. It wasn’t long at all before the cameras found their focus. It just so happened that their focus was on the man known as “The Martyr of Professional Wrestling”. A sly smirk crossed Calvin’s lips when he realized that he had the cameras on him. In true form, he began to speak and when he spoke his voice commanded the attention of everyone watching.
CALVIN HARRIS: “Well here we are... In Charlotte, North Carolina for the inaugural event for Victory Wrestling.”
A brief nod of his head was seen.
CALVIN HARRIS: “From what I understand, thousands upon thousands of you have filled the seats out there tonight. Each and every last one of you are excited to see what happens. All of you are waiting to see what Victory Wrestling is capable of, what type of show they can put on, and what type of talent will be entering that ring. Well good for you, but in reality the only thing you should be worried about and the only talent you should be focused on is standing right here in front of you.”
Pointing to himself at that moment. It was almost a given that the fans weren’t going to be too pleased with someone that was so arrogant. Sure enough loud boos could be heard all the way in the back. Something that Calvin seemingly ignored and didn’t seem to bother giving a proper response to.
CALVIN HARRIS: “Go on down the line of the roster this company has. No one stands out like I do. No ones name means more than mine does. Hell, I’ll even go out on a limb and say there’s no one on this roster that has done as much as I have, which is a little bit of a shame especially for a company that’s just starting out and trying to get off the ground. You would figure the company would do whatever it could to surround itself with actual talent. People that are going to mean something. People that are going to take this company places, but all they have is me.”
The man they called The Martyr was just oozing with arrogance. Certainly not helping his case when it came to the fans.
CALVIN HARRIS: “I’ll give the company credit where credit is due. Offering me the kind of money they did was a great business decision. Putting me in the main event tonight was an even better business decision. Especially when all the dust settles at the end of the night I’m going to be the man standing in the middle of that ring with my hand raised in the air. But if this company assumes for even one single solid second that I’m interested in being the backbone. That I’m interested in being a savior. That I’m interested in anything involving the sort. Then they’re sadly mistaken and they’re looking at the wrong guy. For the only thing I’m interested in is kicking people’s faces in, cashing checks, and getting my hands on championship gold.”
Already, Calvin found himself staking claim to championship gold. Not even done with the first show and he was already looking to what he would consider bigger and better things. Taking just a couple of steps forward allowing the cameras to get a bit of a closer look of his expression.
CALVIN HARRIS: “I promise you this much. There might be several people that compete for the chance of becoming the very first champion. There might be several people that make claims to being the first champion, but rest assured in the end. The first person’s name that goes on championship gold around here is going to be Calvin Harris. And if you’re an idiot that doesn’t want to believe me based on me just stating the fact. Then be sure to pay close attention to the main event tonight. Watch me run straight through Kitty and JT. Watch me decimate them. Watch me prove that they are no competition to me. Allow me to open up your eyes to the truth.”
Taking a couple more steps towards those cameras with that smirk of his continuing to widen across his expression. His ego was spilling out of him more and more.
CALVIN HARRIS: “My name is Calvin Harris and I am BETTER than all of you!”
Those would turn out to be his final words. For the cameras just focused on the man's eyes for a couple of seconds. The amount of seriousness, passion, and commitment could be seen in those dark brown eyes. Yet at the same time his ego was going to be the one thing that ended up costing him. It was his ego that would force people to not take him seriously. However based on what people had seen out of him thus far. There was almost a good indication that Calvin wasn't going to care if people too him seriously or not. He wasn't going to care if people believed him or not. He believed in himself and that's all that seemed to have mattered in this exact moment. That being said cameras found themselves cutting elsewhere for the time being.
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Okay, folks, next up is Caleb Houston against PerZag."
Charlotte Wilson: "And this one was voted on, by our fans, with falls count anywhere selected as the match's stipulation!"
'The Shark': "This is sure to be an epic. Let's head down to the ring."
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE
PerZag vs Caleb Houston
The match was quick to get underway before the competitors had even reached the ring with Caleb attacking PerZag from behind with a Russian Leg Sweep on his way down the ramp at which point the ref called for the bell to officially set things underway. It didn’t take long for PerZag to get back to his feet but Caleb was ready and waiting with a German Suplex straight onto the ramp. Caleb attempted to secure an early pin but PerZag was not for staying down and kicked out resolutely on the two.
PerZag came back on the offensive following the near fall and managed to catch Caleb with a perfectly time Dropkick which saw Caleb stumble backwards into the crowd barrier. Giving Caleb no time to recover PerZag took the fight into the crowd by spearing Caleb straight through the barricade.
Both Caleb and PerZag were back to their feet quickly and fight progressed through the crowd with both men laying into each other with a series of lefts, rights and uppercuts. The referee had his worked cut out for him to keep up with the pair as the duo tumbled through the arena fire door and into the parking lot around the ten minute mark.
Caleb made a second pin attempt after a particularly well timed Enziguri but again PerZag was not ready to give up the fight. PerZag responded to the pin attempt with a successful execution of his PerZag Perfection move and managed to gain the three count on the bonnet of a red camaro.
Victor: PerZag (pin fall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Whoa!"
Charlotte Wilson: "PerZag with a huge victory over Caleb, what a result."
'The Shark': "Houston never looked like he was anywhere near his best tonight, he'll have to step his game up if he's to survive here."
Brad Tate: "Now next up is Cross Recoba against Benito Angelo."
Charlotte Wilson: "Where's your money at, Sharky?"
'The Shark': "It has to be Recoba for me."
ONE-ON-ONE
Cross Recoba vs Benito Angelo
The show came back to see Benito and Cross already at opposite sides of the ring. As the bell rang Cross struck quickly catching Benito off guard with a Saito Suplex which sent him down to the mat. Cross picked Benito back up to his feet but missed a DDT as Benito narrowly ducked under Cross’s arm and got behind him executing a well timed German Suplex as Cross turned.
Benito backed Cross into the corner with a quick flurry of chops and punches without giving Cross a second to respond.. Cross struggled in vain to free himself from his position trapped in the corner but relief did not come until the referee had got the four count forcing Benito to step back.
Cross took the opportunity to roll onto the apron to give himself some breathing room before catching Benito off guard with a Top-Rope Reverse Hurricanrana. he attempted a cover but only managed a two count before Benito kicked out.
The two men traded a flurry of rights and lefts until Cross managed to get the upperhand and connected a well executed Hangman's Neckbreaker. Before Cross could go or a second attempt at the three count Benito managed to flip the momentum in his favour and climbed the ropes to execute his Death from Above signature move which lead to him gaining the three count.
Victor: Benito Angelo (pin fall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Whoa!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Another upset loss?"
'The Shark': "Recoba will be bitterly disappointed with that. No offence to Angelo, but this was a match he should have had in the bag, against a far lesser experienced competitor."
Brad Tate: "I guess that's how things go. Speaking of impressive but lesser experienced competitors, our next contest sees Aiden Morrow up against Dylan Black!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Aiden was, of course, the one and only heavyweight champion at his previous promotion, but I'm sure that means nothing to Dylan. Sharky?"
'The Shark': "Despite that, my money is on Morrow. The kid has that drive we see from the likes of Braxton, and I think that'll edge it."
ONE-ON-ONE
Aiden Morrow vs Dylan Black
As Dylan's entrance music died down, the two men squared up in the middle of the ring. They locked up, with the slightly heavier Dylan coming out on top, forcing Morrow to the mat with a side headlock takedown. Aiden was quick to break free of Dylan's grip and stood, only to meet Dylan's outstretch foot with a big boot. On the mat, Aiden held his face and rolls to his side. Dylan dropped to his knees, forcing Morrow to his back, but the pin attempt was kicked out of at the one count.
Dylan was quickly back on the attack, scoring a harsh kick to Aiden's back as he tried to stand. He pulled Morrow to his feet and hammered him with a couple of punches, forcing him into the corner. Taking a few steps back, Dylan smashed Aiden with a clothesline into the corner. Black motioned to the crowd, gaining him a cheer. He charged again, but Morrow dodged. Dylan rebounded off the turnbuckle and turned, dropping to one knee. Morrow stood at the ropes, taking a second to catch his breath.
Dylan stood again, but Aiden was all over it and caught him with a pair of hard right hands. A third sent Dylan up against the ropes. Aiden charged in, scoring a clothesline that saw both men land on the outside. Morrow was back to his feet first, pausing for the fans for a second as Dylan crawled toward the ring steps. Aiden charged, grabbing the back of Dylan's head and forced him chest first into the barricade around the ring.
The fans chanted, seemingly split between the two men. With a hand on Dylan's neck, Aiden guided him back into the ring. He jumped up onto the ring apron, tugging the ropes a little, before he jumped up, springing off the top rope and leaping toward Dylan, smashing him with a forearm for his Flying Morrow Smash! The fans popped for Aiden, and he quickly to to his feet, moving to the turnbuckle. He stood upright for a second on the top rope before flinging himself forward with his Blyzzard shooting star press. He hooked the leg and the referee go to the three, ending the bout.

RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Up next, folks, we have our historic, first ever main event match, and what a match it is!"
Charlotte Wilson: "That's right, a three-way elimination which pits JT Midas against Kitty Petrova and Calvin Harris."
'The Shark': "Three stars who, between them, have held numerous titles across their career. And you've got to believe that whoever wins this one will be in a commanding position for entry into the Victory Title hunt!"
Brad Tate: "Can't argue there, Sharky. The only question is, which one will win? The ruthlessness of Calvin, the experience of Kitty" or the fire of JT, a man looking to prove he is no longer in Caleb Houston's shadow?
Charlotte Wilson: "Hell of a close one to call, but I feel Kitty might just edge this one."
'The Shark': "It's Harris for me, but I wouldn't write Midas out of it, either. Close call, as Wilson said."

THREEWAY ELIMINATION
Calvin Harris vs JT Midas vs Kitty Petrova
Following the entrances of the three competitors, each stood in a corner, looking toward the other two. JT soon began talking trash to Kitty, who responded with her usual venom. Calvin, far less interested in the trash talk, proceeded to hammer Midas from behind as he closed in on Kitty. For her part, Petrova was happy to let the two guys go at it; she leaned against the turnbuckle, both elbows resting against the top rope.
Harris forced Midas up against the ropes on the opposite side of the ring. With an Irish whip, he sent JT toward Kitty, but she effortlessly moved aside. Calvin followed Midas, who bumped chest first into the turnbuckle, and hit him with a splash to his back, crushing into the turnbuckle again. Kitty slyly smirked as she watched JT get flattened. Harris turned his attention to her, not saying anything. As he moved toward her, she rolled her eyes and launched herself at him, ducking his clothesline and slamming him with a cartwheel kick on the rebound.
Kitty stood tall over her two competitors as they both looked to clamber to their feet. She took her time, waiting for JT to stand, looking to perhaps hit him with her Vixen Driver early on. Midas, though, had other ideas and blocked the grapple, picking Kitty up into a scoop slam, dropping her to the mat and following up with a dragon sleeper as Kitty sat there, pulling her up to her feet. Petrova's arms flailed as she tried to break the hole, but it was a running knee from Calvin that saved her, smashing into the side of JT's face and sending him sprawling to the mat. Kitty rolled from the ring, holding her neck.
In the ring, Calvin looked to capitalise. He scooped JT from the mat, hauling him up into the air and dropping him face first to the mat with a brainbuster DDT. He rolled Midas over, but only achieved a two count. Frustrated, Calvin kicked the bottom rope and turned to look back at Midas. Seeing a chance to pounce, Kitty grabbed his ankle and pulled him from the ring, unceremoniously dumping him on the mats on the outside with a thud.
Kitty stomped on Calvin, who rolled to his side and then back to try and defend. She picked him from the mat and threw him into the barricade. Meanwhile, Midas got to his feet. As the two brawled on the outside of the ring, Midas climbed the turnbuckle, flooring both Calvin and Kitty with a flying crossbody, and crashing into the barricade as he landed.
Of the three competitors, Kitty was the first to move, crawling to the ring steps to help her to her feet. As she stood, she turned, and was wiped out with a running knee from JT, sending her back first into and over the ring steps. He leaned against the steps, shaking his leg after having seemingly bumped it in his earlier daredevil move. Behind Midas, Calvin slid into the ring, and JT followed, only to be met with a stomp to the back as he tried to get to his feet. Seeing his chance to strike, Calvin dragged JT to his feet.
Calvin whipped JT into the turnbuckle and charged close behind, slamming him with a knee to the chin, his "Contact Kill" move! Groggy, JT stumbled forward. Calvin kicked him in the gut and lifted him into the air and slamming him to the mat with his "Crossfaded" package piledriver. Calvin hooked JT's leg, but somehow Midas kicked out at two!
Clearly beside himself, Calvin grabbed the referee, forcing the poor man to the mat with a thud. He exited the ring and grabbed Brad Tate's chair, shoving the commentator aside to do so. He returned, weapon in hand. JT started to stir, but was floor with a harsh shot from the steel chair. Before Calvin couple capitalise, Kitty charged in, grabbing him by the neck and swinging them both around with her "Liar Liar" 720 DDT, Calvin dropped into the chair he himself had been holding.
Kitty covered Calvin and the referee crawled over. Counting faster than usual, likely due to Calvin's aggression toward him, the referee reached a three.
Calvin is eliminated!
JT, his forehead bloodied from the chair, stood and staggered over to Kitty, who met him with a series of strikes. Kitty attempted a second Liar Liar, but JT resisted and Petrova landed on her feet, facing him. JT kicked her in the gut and pulled her in, looking for his "Wicked Ways" DDT. He released the hold, however, when he saw Calvin about to swing the chair at him, and ducked. The steel struck Kitty across her back, driving her down to the mat.
The referee tried to stop Harris, and got a chair to the face for his trouble. JT exited the ring, an eye always on Calvin, who threw the chair down in a fit of rage. Calvin dropped to the mat and rolled from the ring, making his way up to the entrance ramp. Midas slide back in and crawled over to Kitty, but the referee was unable to count. JT tried to wake the ref, but was hooked into a schoolgirl pin by Kitty. With the referee groggy, he only hit a one count before Midas kicked out.
Both competitors stood, and Midas caught Kitty's punch, yanking her to the mat and attempting a cross armbar, which Kitty managed to wriggle free of thanks to some horrid looking elbows to Midas' temple. Holding his head, JT stood, and Kitty met him with a Russian leg sweep. She attempted a cover, picking up a two count.
Kitty rolled to her knees and then to her feet. JT crawled to the ropes, with Kitty stalking behind him. She charged, but ran into a huge lariat from Midas. JT immediately moved to the ring apron. As Kitty stood, he leaped up onto the top rope and dived, but Kitty ducked the springboard forearm and Midas landed on his feet, rolling forward once. As he turned she met him with a cartwheel kick, flooring him again.
Kitty stood, motioning that this fight was over. She waited for Midas and grabbed his arm as he stood upright, turning him to face her. She planted a huge kiss on his lips. Afterward he recoiled, holding his mouth and accosting her, which she met with a fierce uppercut. She turned and ran to the ropes, springboarding, but Midas met her with a kick to the gut, grabbing her head and planting her with his "Wicked Ways' DDT. Rolling her to her back he made the cover, scoring the three and the win!
Victor: JT Midas (pin fall)
Brad Tate: "What. A Match!"
Charlotte Wilson: "All three gave it their all, but of course only one can win"
'The Shark': "Harris got screwed! That referee count was ridiculous, and we all saw it."
Brad Tate: "A little fast, perhaps, but it doesn't change the result. That's an impressive win for JT Midas here tonight and is sure to position him as the first name entered into the Victory Title matches taking place over our next two shows."
'The Shark': "He was screwed and we sure as hell all saw it! There is bound to be fallout from this."
Charlotte Wilson: "Well, what a show we've witnessed. We look forward to our next episode, in two weeks. But for tonight, from the whole team, goodnight everyone."
'The Shark': "Goodnight!"
Huge shout out to all of the handlers who participated, as well as the match writers and graders, and a big thanks to anyone from outside of the fed who has taken the time to read our show.
