From The Victory Studios, Charlotte, NC.
Victory Wrestling Episode 002.
OPENING SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Welcome to Victory Wrestling's second episode, we are here at the Victory Studios in Charlotte, North Carolina! Brad Tate at ringside, and I am joined by Charlotte Wilson and Barry "The Shark" Richter"
Charlotte Wilson: "Brad, what a show we have lined up. Two, that's right, TWO huge 4-way matches tonight, with the winner of each earning a spot in a Victory Title match at our first supershow, Revolution."
'The Shark': "Not only that though, Wilson, but the competitors from Episode 003's 4-ways are in tag team action tonight, with two massive matches in store."
Brad Tate: "And we've got several debutantes on show here tonight, plus rumour has it that GM Vortex will be making an appearance for a special announcement. Can't wait to see what that might be. So, let's get the show on the road!"
ONE-ON-ONE
Cheesecake vs Jonathon Cage
As the bell rang Cheesecake was quickly on the attack with a dropkick to Cage’s chest which sent him back into the ropes. She went for a leg sweep to capitalise on her early momentum but Cage managed to avoid the move and switch the advantage to his favour when he dropped Cheesecake unceremoniously to the mat with a DDT. He went for the early pin attempt but Cheesecake had her shoulder up well before the two count.
Out of the pin attempt Cheescake was straight back on the offensive striking Cage with another dropkick followed quickly with a Leg Sweep which was this time successful. Before she could even attempt the pin, Cage had rolled clear and scrambled to his feet. Using Cheesecake’s frustration to his advantage he landed his own attack with a well executed spear for another two count.
Not wanting to lose the momentum Cage was quick back to his feet and pulled Cheescake up with him but as Cage prepared to strike, Cheescake connected a hard elbow to Cage’s chest knocking him back slightly. Cheesecake capitalised by getting in position for a Flying forearm smash which caught Cage off guard and sent him to the mat, she followed with a leg drop before attempting the cover. She was unable to achieve the three count however with Cage kicking out strongly on the two.
Both took the opportunity to roll to opposite sides of the ring to regain their composure before Cage went on the attack, backing Cheescake into the corner with a flurry of lefts and rights. Cheesecake managed to regain control whipping Cage into the ropes but the control was short lived as Cage caught Cheesecake with his Shadow Kick in the centre of the ring which lead to the successful three count.
Winner: Jonathon Cage (Pinfall).
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "A good match from both competitors, but a victory for Cage in the end."
Charlotte Wilson: "Cheesecake will be disappointed, but I have no doubt she will bounce back."
'The Shark': "Her name might be dumb, but the girl will only improve as the weeks go on. Cage, though, showed his experience with a good, solid win."
Brad Tate: "Now, up next we have the loudmouth Remo Romero against the mysterious Shrio Tsuchii."
Charlotte Wilson: "Romero is cocky, he's arrogant, but can he back it up?"
'The Shark': "At least he talks! We know nothing of this Tsuchii and so, for that reason, my money is on Romero."
ONE-ON-ONE
Remo Romero vs Shiro Tsuchii
High speed and high impact were on the menu, getting the Victory crowd hyped in the first few minutes with a series of reversals and counters that had Tsuchii come out on top with a butterfly suplex out of nowhere. The first fall barely hit two before Romero popped back up to catch Tsuchii mid-air with a rolling thunder clothesline that had the crowd on their feet. He hooked the leg but Shiro broke out and they went right back to alternating punches and chops. Finally, Romero tossed Tsuchii to the middle of the ring with a hard Beel throw. He went to the top rope and launched just as Tsuchii straightened up. Instead of hitting him, Romero went right over him, landing and firing off a Vegas kick.
It felt like the match should have ended there but much to the crowd’s delight, Tsuchii got a shoulder up at the last second. He bailed out to the floor and Romero sprang over the rope with a suicide dive that almost sent both into the first row’s lap. Shiro hit the barricade hard with his shoulder, clearly favoring the arm after. The barrier held though and they battled back towards the ring, Tsuchii getting advantage when Romero got tripped up by the ring steps only to eat a running bulldog to the face. Shiro rolled him back into the ring and followed, only to have his legs swept out and then Romero had him caught up in the Bitter End (bridging arm triangle choke), leaving Tsuchii no choice but to tap out or risk more damage to his shoulder.
Victor: Reno Romero (submission)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "And it's Remo with the debut win!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Shiro will be disappointed, but that Bitter End left him with no choice but to tap."
'The Shark': "Maybe, just maybe this Romero kid isn't all hype. I'm impressed at his performance tonight."
Brad Tate: "Well, looking forward now and up next we have another match of the newcomers, Starlight against Summer."
Charlotte Wilson: "Summer is a relative veteran for her age and I, for one, am very excited she's here in Victory."
'The Shark': "But Starlight is a tough...albeit odd individual. My money has to go on here for this one."
ONE-ON-ONE
Starlight vs Summer
In the first few seconds, it became pretty clear that newcomer Summer had done her homework, keeping firm control of the match as she (wo)manhandled Starlight around the ring. Putting on a suplex clinic, she did a series of Germans that had the crowd popping before switching to her signature Heat Stroke. Starlight tried to keep the Firebird grounded to no avail as a stunner on the ropes turned into a wicked frankensteiner. Summer rolled her up, only to get a face full of red mist in the process for a two count.
The pair fought back to their feet with Summer trying desperately to clear her vision while Starlight pummeled her back into the ropes. After a hard shoulder block to the gut, Starlight scooped Summer up for a Blood Sunday but she slipped out the back door, hitting a chop block to Starlight’s knees before rebounding off the second rope. She nailed the Meet Cute, knocking Starlight out before hooking both legs in the middle of the ring to pick up the win.
Victory: Summer (pin fall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "What a win for Summer, off to a great start here in Victory!"
Charlotte Wilson: "And it's disappointment for Starlight, unfortunately."
'The Shark': "Nothing unfortunate there, Wilson. Going against my prediction, Summer proved herself to be better than Starlight and that's all there is to it."
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
In that particular moment the cameras had cut to a different area backstage. Seemingly just arriving to the arena at that moment was the man they referred to as “The Martyr”. Calvin had a pair of shades covering his eyes and was wearing a black as well as grey suit that fit him just right. Realizing that the cameras were there judging by the way that he looked right at them. Calvin didn’t bother to stop. He didn’t bother to say a word. Instead he started to continue on with his journey down the hall. Suddenly the man behind the cameras could be heard.
CAMERA MAN: Calvin...
There was a brief pause that filled the air. Obviously from the camera man just assuming that in speaking up and saying his name was going to grab the Martyr’s attention. Yet it didn’t seem to work out maybe the way that he had envisioned considering there was no response that came from Calvin.
CAMERA MAN: Calvin, don’t you’ve got something to say to the Victory Wrestling audience?
For a brief second Calvin’s head did shift in the direction of the camera almost like he had acknowledged that he was being spoken to, but nothing came from him in a verbal sense. A very small and barely even noticeable shake of his head was seen as he continued onward with his walk down the hall.
CAMERA MAN: Really? After last week you’ve got nothing to say? You were verbal on twitter about possibly being done with wrestling. Considering retirement. Rumor says that it had a lot to do with your debut match and what you felt was a screw job via a fast count from one of our officials. You don’t want to comment on that?
This almost smug like smirk started to cross Calvin’s face. It left people with that brief expectation that he was finally going to speak, but sure enough nothing was said. That was only causing some frustration from the camera man as well as frustration among the fans of Victory Wrestling. They might not have liked him, but at least they wanted answers in whether or not it would be a matter of where they’d be dealing with him anymore.
CAMERA MAN: C’mon Calvin. Surely, you’ve got something to say. Surely, you’ve got something that you want to get off your chest. You’re just not the type to remain silent. That isn’t like you.
Those words echoed through the hall it seemed just as Calvin came to a stop. Reason being as he had arrived at his personal locker room. Reaching up and removing the sun glasses from his face. His relaxed expression consumed his face as he looked right at the camera man.
CALVIN HARRIS: You want a response from me?
CAMERA MAN: I do. I think everyone does.
CALVIN HARRIS: Sure thing, I’ve got a response for you and everyone else...
His lips curving into a smirk leaving people to believe that whatever it was would end up being juicy. However what ended up happening was something rather disrespectful. Calvin proceeded to hold up the MIDDLE FINGER on both hands right before the cameras. In a quick response the fans in their seats all the way out in the arena had began to boo heavily, which was a good indication that they were not happy. The double bird was brief but had done sent a message.
CALVIN HARRIS: How’s that for your response?
And just as soon as those words came out of his mouth. Calvin gripped a hold of the door to his personal locker room opening the door up. Heading right inside before slamming the door shut behind him. For a couple of brief seconds the cameras were just focused on the nameplate of “Calvin Harris” leaving everyone with the impression that tonight was not going to be a good night for anyone as long as he was in the building.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Strong words from Calvin there. Speaking of, he's up next in out first huge tag match, teaming with Mary-Jane Braxton to take on the team of Mr Hyde and Jackson Ford."
Charlotte Wilson: "Calling those two a team is probably pushing it, and there's no love lost between any of these four."
'The Shark': "For me, though, Calvin Harris is the difference maker and I expect him to tip things in his team's favor here tonight."
TAG TEAM
Calvin Harris and Mary-Jane Braxton vs Mr Hyde and Jackson Ford
The match started off with Calvin taking the lead for his team. In the opposite corner Mr.Hyde and Jackson Ford had a heated and animated “discussion” about who would start first. Jackson threw his hands up in disdain as Mr. Hyde beat his chest, stepping out into the ring. Harris shot from the corner and caught a distracted Hyde with a dropkick square in his back. The crowd booed loudly as Harris sprawled over his back and took his front in a grounded head lock. Harris traded locks and positions on the ground with Hyde, before catching Hyde with a stiff kick in his side. Harris was all over a reeling Hyde hitting him with a combination of kicks and punches.
He slowly backed Hyde into the enemy corner. Pressing him against the turnbuckle Calvin raised his hand out for MJ to make a tag. However, MJ was sitting on the ring apron, preoccupied with picking some dirt out of her nails. Harris looked pissed as the crowd takes a big laugh out of it. Calvin released Hyde and walked to the ropes to yell at MJ, to get her head in the game, but she continued to ignore his existence.
Hyde took advantage of Calvin, clubbing him in the back roughly. Harris fell to the floor and Hyde stomped a mud hole into Calvin. Hyde took time to step away from Calvin and pound his chest once more and look down to talk some trash. Hyde slowly picked Harris before unceremoniously dropping him back down to the mat with a vicious DDT. Hyde rolled Harris over and kept pressing pinning him to the mat to land some fist to his head.
Hyde folded Calvin to the mat for a quick pin attempt and Harris kicked out after two, but was quickly locked into a grounded chin lock. Hyde forced Harris over to enemy territory where Jackson was ready to make the tag. Hopping in Jackson and Hyde ganged up on Harris for a moment before Jackson took control. Jackson stood Harris up and dropped him with a quick Enziguri. Jackson pressed on, trying for another pin attempt, which Calvin kicked out of.
The match goes in Jackson’s momentum as he alternates between grounded submission holds and transitions before rising Harris back up to his feet again. Jackson goes for a neckbreaker, but Calvin chops himself free and grabs Jackson with a sweeping russian leg sweep that takes them both to the mat. Harris gassed makes his way to his corner, crawling for a bit. He reaches his hands out for MJ to tag. MJ stares at him and then her own hand, teasing the tag before she pulls her hand back, covering her nose to sneeze and holding up a finger to tell Calvin to wait a second. Harris looks pissed as he begins to violently yell at MJ before Jackson is able to quickly come from behind to grab Harris and plant him with an exploder suplex. Jackson makes the cover, but Harris is able kick out at two.
Jackson pulled Harris up, however out of nowhere Calvin landed a picture perfect dropkick that sent Jackson falling and crashing back to corner. Hyde made the quick tag back in, taking a second to berate Jackson verbally for his lack of ability to finish Harris off. With the opponents distracted, Calvin moved to his corner, slapping MJ on her head, thus tagging her in.
Braxton stood on the apron, unimpressed. Calvin held his hands out and the pair argued until Hyde slammed into Calvin from behind, forcing him forward into MJ and propelling her from the apron into the security barricade. Hyde quicky dispatched Calvin to the outside and moved to attack MJ, dropping her to the security wall again with a body press.
Moving Braxton into the ring, Hyde kept the pressure on. As she struggled to her feet, Hyde took a few steps back, looking to score his Final Hunt. He grabbed MJ, but she pushed him forward, and he walked into a Full Dose T-bone suplex
from his own partner! Jackson, looking disgusted at Hyde, slid from the ring and made for the ramp.
Braxton quickly crawled over to Hyde, attempting the pin, but he kicked out at two. She waited as he rose, grabbing him up onto her shoulders, she threw him up and dived backward but he managed to take a step back and her facetime missed. As Braxton scrambled to her feet, Hyde finally scored his Final Hunt, cutting her down where she stood.
Before he could take advantage, Calvin was onto him, and scored his Art of Betrayal package piledriver. Harris grabbed Braxton's arm, placing it over Hyde, and exited the ring as the referee called the three count!
As MJ groggily sat, Calvin walked backward up the ramp, yelling a reminder that he had just saved her ass.
Winners: Calvin Harris and Mary-Jane Braxton (pin fall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Wow!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Sharky, you predicted Calvin would be the difference maker, and that proved to be right!"
'The Shark': "Braxton may have picked up the actual pin fall, but Harris saved her from a surefire loss at the end there. Hyde though, he was impressive all the same, especially with Ford deciding to not only walk out on him, but attack him in the process!"
IN-RING SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Now, last week we-"
Scar Syemmetry's "Chaosweaver" plays out.
Charlotte Wilson: "Well now."
Victory GM Vortex steps out from behind the curtain and strides down to the ring, neatly dressed in a navy blue suit. He clambers into the ring and is handed a microphone.
Vortex: "Two weeks ago we all witnessed the historic first show, the true birth of this company, of Victory Wrestling. We have highs and for some, we had lows. The show was headlined by a huge match, JT Midas, Kitty Petrova and Calvin Harris. We all know what happened, a referee 'fast count' taking Harris out, talking of a screw job from upon high, a company out to get him. So let me set the record straight...bring out the referee in question, Mark Thompson."
The cameras return to the stage and a lone figure walks out from the back - a fairly small man in stature, wearing a referee's shirt. He slides into the ring, looking at his own feet about half the time.
'The Shark': "What on earth is going on here?"
Vortex: "Now, Mark, you are a referee here with Victory Wrestling, correct?"
Mark nods.
Vortex: "And referees don't interfere in matches, correct?"
He hesitates, but nods again.
Vortex: "Yet two weeks ago you did just that, and because of your actions my integrity has been called into question. Now I know what you're thinking, Mark. You're thinking that you're about to get reprimanded, roasted here before this crowd, made to issue an apology to Calvin Harris. But let me tell you what's going to happen..."
Vortex drops the microphone and grabs the man, hoisting him into the air and dropping him to the mat with The Vortex - a swinging side slam, the move his nickame originates from. He kneels beside the felled referee and retrieves the microphone, yelling.
Vortex: "Let this serve as a warning for anyone who wants to call my professionalism into question, for anyone who wants to bring this company's reputation into disrepute, anyone looking to make a fool of me! I will not stand for my name being dragged through the dirt, nor will I stand for failure. You have, all of you, been warned."
He stands and rolls Mark to his chest with his foot.
Vortex: "Oh and Mark...you're fired. Someone scoop this piece of crap up and shift him from my ring."
Brad Tate: "What the hell just happened?"
Charlotte Wilson: "I...think Vortex wanted to make a public statement against anyone accusing him of bias against Calvin Harris?"
'The Shark': "Well he certainly did that, and that dumbass Thompson just lost his job over it."
Brad Tate: "A little harsh, but he definitely did take it upon himself to screw over Calvin."
Charlotte Wilson: "I still think it's strange Vortex decided to answer this physically, instead of just firing the guy..."
LADDER 4-WAY
Aiden Morrow vs Helena Noir vs Caleb Houston vs Tiami Erickson
The match began with a stare down between all four competitors. With each one looking to make a statement from the off, all four were quickly onto the offensive. Aiden and Caleb slugged it out, whilst Tiami forced Helena into the corner. An Irish whip from both Tiami and Aiden saw Caleb and Helena crash into each other, wiping each another out.
Tiami charged at Aiden, but he caught her with a takedown, transitioning into a headlock, which Tiami broke with a headscissors. Both stood, only to be blindsided by Caleb, who sent Tiami to the outside and Aiden into the turnbuckle post. He turned, only to be met with a flurry of kicks, culminating in a roundhouse which knocked Caleb from his feet.
Quickly back on the attack, Helena looked to lock Caleb into a stretch muffler, but his thick legs proved too heavy and he slipped free, kicking her off and forcing her into the corner. Caleb stood and charged, but he crashed into the padded corner as Helena moved, only for Aiden to wipe her out with an enzuigiri. Tiami slid into the ring as Aiden and Caleb brawled, and attempted a cover on Helena, which Aiden broke up.
Caleb grabbed Aiden, forcing both of them to the outside. There he slammed his head into the ring steps, commentary table and the barricade around the ring - all legal, of course! Aiden slumped to the mats, looking worse for wear, his forehead cut open. In the ring Tiami threw Helena about the ring with a series of suplexes, including a German and a belly-to-belly into the turnbuckle. Caleb dragged Tiami out of the ring by the ankle and dropped her chest first to the protective mats.
Pulling her up, Caleb span Tiami around, launching her up over his head and slamming her down with his Gold Rush sleeper suplex! Caleb grabbed a ladder, moving into the ring with it, and was met with a dropkick from Helena, bouncing the ladder off his skull and sending him to the mat. Helena picked the ladder up, struggling to position it, and finally setting it up underneath the case, which hung high above the ring.
She climbed the ladder, but Aiden grabbed her leg and yanked her down with a powerbomb. Tiami got to her feet and sprinted up the ladder, but again Aiden stopped her, and the pair exchanged blows until Caleb tipped the ladder, which sent Tiami to the outside, but Aiden managed to step onto the ropes and threw himself back at Caleb, connecting with a back elbow. Feeling at his bloodied forehead, Aiden rose to his feet, met by Helena. He kicked her in the gut, hooking her arms, but she wriggled free of the NO FLX ZONE and landed her Stay Gold move, driving Aiden to the mat.
She moved to the ladder, climbing again. This time Caleb moved to stop her, and they battled at the top of the ladder, which wobbled slightly under the pressure. Aiden stood, grabbing Helena's ankle. She tried to kick him off, but he held on. Caleb swung, but missed, and she forced his head into the top of the ladder, leaving him reeling. Aiden tugged again, and Helena turned on the ladder, trying to kick him off. He scored a knee to his face, and Caleb grabbed her hair from behind. She reached up, wrapping her arm around Caleb's neck and kicked out at Aiden, propelling herself up and over, taking Caleb with her and dropping both to the mat with her Stay Gold move!!
Aiden fell backward, from Helena's kick, and rebounded from the ropes, landing back at the ladder. He quickly looked around and scurried upward. Helena rose to her feet and Tiami finally returned to the ring, but Aiden had his hands on the case. He yanked, pulling it free and earning the victory!
Helena screamed out in frustration, holding her back, and Aiden dropped from the ladder, rolling from the ring. The irate Noir tipped the ladder over and, turning to Tiami, grabbed her, smashing her with a Fondu Au Noir to show the full depth of her annoyance at being so close again. On the ramp, Aiden grinned, holding the case above his head, with Helena watching on.
Victor: Aiden Morrow (retrieved item)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Aiden wins, Aiden wins!"
Charlotte Wilson: "It was close, gents, but in the end Aiden got a little lucky with how things went. Helena, though, looked impressive again. I think we can all agree she has a bright future ahead."
'The Shark': "Indeed we can. Ericksen and Houston will be disappointed, however. But another win for Morrow and he becomes the first competitor entered into the Revolution 4-way for the Victory Title!"
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
Cameras rolled into the locker room area backstage. In cutting to that area the cameras were focused on a set of long legs that just so happened to have their a pair of wrestling boots being laced up. Slowly the cameras zoomed outward and upward revealing that the person with those long legs was none other than Victory Wrestling superstar, Brooklyn Skye. Being sure to finish tying those boots up before those dark brown eyes of hers finding their way to the cameras on her. That smile she was known to give crossing those thick full lips of hers.
BROOKLYN SKYE: The Main Event...
Her strong Carolina like accent escaping her lips.
BROOKLYN SKYE: Three other men and myself find ourselves stepping into a steel cage. One of the most dangerous matches that have ever been introduced into the world of professional wrestling. By all means a steel cage match wouldn’t be an ideal match for a woman to compete in. Especially not against three men who wouldn’t have any trouble tossing her around the ring like she means nothing. However I’m not just your average woman. Something people are going to learn that tonight.
There was such a look of determination in her eyes when she spoke up about the main event that she was going to be involved in just a few hours from now. A look of determination that not even most veterans seemed to have these days. It proves that Brooklyn was young, hungry, and willing to do whatever it took to succeed.
BROOKLYN SKYE: Being surrounded by fifteen foot high of chain link cage does not cause me to cringe in fear. If anything it makes me want to push my physical limits and to see what I’m capable of inside that type of structure. Call me crazy, but it makes me want to do things I normally wouldn’t do. Take things to the extreme a little. Who knows you might even see me ascend to the top of the cage and then leap off making a moment history that is talked about in wrestling for years to come.
Hearing that come from the fan favorite caused there to be a loud uproar of cheers from the fans that were watching her on the screen. Just the thought of what Brooklyn might do in the terms of putting her body on the line
BROOKLYN SKYE: I’ll keep my surprises for later tonight, but the one thing I do know is that tonight all eyes are going to be on the four people inside that steel cage. All eyes are going to be focused on us as those fans wait and see which one of us proves without a shadow of a doubt that we’re the future of this company. After all this Fatal Four Way is going to decide the fate of one of us going into Revolution with the opportunity to compete for the Heavyweight Championship of this company. The only way you get that chance is by winning this match. Which then means that every single one of us should be on their so called “A Game” if you will.
On that note she stood herself up out of the steel chair that she happened to be sitting in. Forcing the cameras to move upward as well keeping the focus on the young woman.
BROOKLYN SKYE: Gentlemen, I already know that being a woman has made me a target. I’m more than aware that every single one of you aren’t going to show me much respect. I’m more than aware that every single one of you are going to view me as weak. Not to mention neither of you are going to see me as a threat to you. You’ve probably go it all figured out that you’re just going to be able to throw me around as if I’m a rag doll. You’ve probably got these cruel things that you think you’re going to be able to do to me involving the steel of the cage. Most of all you’ve already tricked yourself into thinking that when you drop me out there tonight that I’m not going to stand back up.
Those dark brown eyes started to narrow a little bit.
BROOKLYN SKYE: But in reality the question you should be asking yourselves is... What happens if I don’t stay down? What happens if I get back up? What happens if you’re the best isn’t enough to best me? Because as much as you might not think it’s possible. As much as you might think poorly of me. As much as you want to believe that I do not stand a chance. The fact of the matter is that I do stand a chance. I stand a very real chance!
More confidence oozed out of the young woman.
BROOKLYN SKYE: Guess there’s just one thing left to do. We’re going to find out if you’re men or if you’re nothing more than little boys. All in all though you’re going to get all woman out of yours truly. Time for me to be the Highlight of the Night!
In those words being said Brooklyn offered a small wink to the cameras that were on her. Then just like that the woman found herself marching right out of the frame of the cameras. The sound of the locker room door opening and then closing could be heard, which was the cue the cameras needed for them to cut themselves back out to the ring for the next scheduled contest of the night.
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Next up is our second tag match, Kitty Petrova and PerZag up against Ryan Goode and Katie Anderson."
Charlotte Wilson: "I'll be honest, gents, I can't see past Kitty in this contest. She's got the skills, the experience and the...badassness to win this one for her team."
'The Shark': "Petrova is a tough as hell lady and, so I am told, sadly unavailable on the dating scene. That being said, for tonight's bout, all eyes will most definitely all be on here, as will the expectation. But I agree with Wilson, I can't see her losing, as long as PerZag does his part."
TAG TEAM
Kitty Petrova and PerZag vs Ryan Goode and Katie Anderson
The match began with Kitty and Katie squaring up. Kitty threw a sly low kick onto Katie's knee, the same one she hurt last time out. Katie collapses to a kneeling position and Kitty followed up with a DDT. Stalking her prey, Kitty took her time, stomping on Katie's leg and hands.
Katie crawled to her corner, but Kitty kept her in away from Ryan, working her down with strikes. Anderson caught a lucky break, kicking Kitty down for a second, just another time to stand, leap and tag Ryan in.
The fresh man charged, but his clothesline missed and Kitty scored a back elbow, followed up by a fisherman buster. Kitty stood and, groggily, Ryan joined her, only to walk into Kitty's Liar Liar move. As Kitty made the pin, PerZag ran into the ring, intercepting Katie with a clothesline. Kitty picked up the three, winning the bout for her team.
As Kitty rose to her feet she was met with the sight of PerZag celebrating. She grabbed his arm, spinning him to face her, and gifted him a Liar Liar of his own. Kitty left the ring, her hard work done, and looked back with a wry smirk as she left up the ramp.
Victors: Kitty Petrova and PerZag (pin fall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Talk about making a statement!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Kitty not only won the match, but even annihilated her own teammate in the process."
'The Shark': "As soon as that bell rang they were no longer teammates, and a veteran like Petrova well knows it. She just scored not only the win, but an advantage over PerZag heading into their 4-way in two weeks."
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The cameras move backstage, where a huddle of Victory Wrestling staff can be seen. From off camera a stretcher rolls into view, pulled by two EMTs, and the staff part to make way. JT Midas can be seen laying on the floor, seemingly unconscious. The crowd ooh and aah.
Brad Tate: "What the?"
Charlotte Wilson: "Is that JT?"
'The Shark': "Midas looks to be out cold."
As the medics attend to Midas, Vortex walks into view. He puts his hands on his head and then yells at the nearest crew member, shoving him aside.
Vortex: "What the hell happened?"
Nobody answers.
Vortex: "Find out, now! Go!"
The crew members look at each other, then scurry away as commanded. The scene fades with the medics loading JT onto a stretcher.
CAGE TRIPLE THREAT
Brooklyn Skye vs Benito Angelo vs Dylan Black
As Brooklyn's music died down, the three opponents circled each other, and the bell rang. Dylan and Benito was straight at each other, and an offended Brooklyn broke up their punching, hammering both with right hands, forcing Dylan into the corner and Benito against the ropes. She Irish whipped Benito, causing him to crash into Dylan, and followed him, landing a splash to his back and sandwiching him between herself and Black.
Brooklyn motioned to the crowd and drew a good cheer. She grabbed Benito, but he countered and pushed her off, following up with a thunderous clothesline. Dylan ran forward, but Benito caught him with a spinebuster. Angelo looked up at the cage and started to climb, but was stopped by Brooklyn. He fended her assault off, cultimating in a spear which cut her down to the mat.
As he stood, Dylan attacked, landing kicks and punches, ending with a roundhouse kick which grounded Benito. Dylan was quick to climb the cage, but Brooklyn stopped his escape attempt. The two battled, but Brooklyn crashing his head into the steel and forcing him down to the mat. She looked on as Benito clambered to his feet and leaped, scoring a crossbody, but Benito caught her, shifting her easily and scoring his Killing Blow move!
Benito grabbed Dylan by his hair and hoisted him up, landing a second Killing Blow! He laughed as his fallen opponents. He moved to the cage door, kicking it several times, until it burst open. He looked to escape, but Brooklyn grabbed his ankle. He tried to stomp on her, but she rolled from side to side to avoid, sweeping his legs out with a kick of her own and forcing him to the mat.
Dylan grabbed Brooklyn, but she countered, taking him off guard with her Faded Silence hold. She cranked his neck, hoping to force the submission, but Benito broke the hold. He hoisted her up with a fireman's carry, but she escape and turned, looking to escape.
As Brooklyn stepped between the ropes, Benito grabbed her belt. He clubbed her on the back of the head and seemed to knock the life from her. He pulled her back into the ropes with a modified camel clutch of sorts, forcing Skye to scream in pain. As she neared submission, Dylan charged from behind, breaking the hold and forcing Benito face first into the cage. Dylan waited for Benito, his forehead already bleeding, to turn and pulled him up into his Black Out move. Benito countered, slamming Black to the mat, and stumbled backward, accidentally hitting Brooklyn's legs and causing her to tumble. He turned to grab her but was too late, and she unknowingly dropped to the floor on the outside, scoring the win!
As Brooklyn's music played, Benito was beside himself. He stomped on Dylan a few times before looking to exit the ring, only to eat the cage door, courtesy of Brooklyn. With her arms raised by the referee, Skye headed to the ramp, a huge grin on her face. She held her head and then motioned across her waist, showing her intent for the Victory Championship!
Victor: Brookyln Skye (escape)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Well, how about that? It may have been a fortunate win, but it's a win all the same!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Sometimes good fortune is all the difference between a win and a loss. Benito will be disappointed, but in the end it's Brooklyn going on to the Revolution match!"
'The Shark': "The question now is weather that fortune will see her to the gold."
Brad Tate: "We'll find out in four weeks! But before then we have Episode 003, and two more 4-way matches to get through!"
Charlotte Wilson: "So far we know that Brooklyn Skye and Aiden Morrow will be in the Revolution title match, but who will join them? Find out in two weeks!"
Brad Tate: "For tonight, though, it's goodnight from all of here here in Charlotte."
'The Shark': "Goodnight!"
