From The Victory Studios, Charlotte, NC.
Victory Wrestling Episode 003.
OPENING SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Welcome to Victory Studios, here in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina, and the newest episode of Victory Wrestling! Brad Tate here at ringside, with Charlotte Wilson and 'The Shark' here beside me."
Charlotte Wilson: "Brad, what an exciting evening we have ahead, things are just starting to really heat up here in VW. We have the second pair of 4-ways, where the winners will enter into the title match at Revolution, taking place right here tonight."
'The Shark': "And that's only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak."
Charlotte Wilson: "And that's huge news for these two ladies! Cheesecake and Summer have had a fairly stormy relationship so far, and there's no love lost between them. Throw in a potential title shot and you've got the ingredients for one hell of a fight!"
'The Shark': "Not just that, though - Vortex himself is due to be the referee for this one. And only days after the always loudmouthed Cheesecake showed an utter lack of respect to the man on social media."
Brad Tate: "Given how we've seen Vortex handle people who disobeyed or disrespected him in the past, can we trust him to be objective here tonight?"
'The Shark': "Ultimately, it doesn't matter. He's going to be the referee either way."
Charlotte Wilson: "Well, let's take it down to ringside and find out."
SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE (VORTEX)
Cheesecake vs Summer
Going in for an early cover, Summer managed a two count before Cheesecake kicked out. Rolling to her knees, Summer said something to Vortex, to which he shook his head. As Cheesecake clambered to her feet, as Summer stalked her from behind - grabbing her and throwing her backward with the millennium suplex. Cheesecake's chest bounced off the ring mat and she ended up resting on her knees, dazed. Summer looked at her opponent, then the crowd, and turned, running to the ropes, but missing her dropkick when Cheesecake dropped to the mat and rolled sideways.
On the outside, Cheesecake yelled at a fan about how smart she is, only to almost meet that fan head on when Summer threw her into the safety barrier. Vortex followed the women to the outside, electing to not employ is ten count. Summer looked to throw Cheesecake into the ring steps, but was instead thrown into them herself. Cheesecake grabbed her and the two women exchanged blows.
The action moved back into the ring where, taking Summer by surprise, Cheesecake nailed her You Wa Shock roundhouse kick, flattening her. Vortex made the count, but Summer kicked out, causing him to smirk. Cheesecake caught wind and stood, getting in his face and then shoving him. He threatened hitting her, but before he had to Summer rolled Cheesecake up. Vortex counted, reaching a two. Both ladies were quick to their feet, only for Summer to land her SF2 Turbo move. She made the cover and got the three, winning the match.
Victor: Summer (pin fall)
After the match, Helena Noir appeared on the stage. She and Summer stared each other down, both exchanging a few unheard words. Behind Summer, Vortex watched on intently.
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The ringside action cut to the backstage area, showing the hallway that led to the locker rooms. Vortex’s Executive Assistant Mia Rivera moved into view, looking professional in a cute little business suit with a mini skirt that shows off plenty of leg. She paused in front of one of the doors, looking up and down the hall before knocking softly. When there was no answer, she actually opened the door slightly, poking her head inside.
Mia Rivera: “Jackson? Are you here?”
Jackson was at his locker debating if he should use his wrestling gear or go out in street clothes. At the sight of him, Mia froze - of course he had his shirt off, probably wanting to cover up that fresh tattoo of his. As he stood up, he grabbed his shirt and put it on, walking over towards Mia.
Jackson Ford: “Sorry I didn’t answer the knock; I thought it was the production crew wanting to get shots of me before the match. Do you want to come in or would you like me to come out there?”
She grinned, stepping a little further into the room.
Mia Rivera: “No, it’s okay. I’ll come in.”
Reaching up, she fiddled with a lock of her pink hair as a little bit of a blush came over her cheeks.
Mia Rivera: “So, I just kinda wanted to come see you before your match. I know I asked you all those questions all week on that silly app, but I just wanted to really watch you prepare. Firsthand. You know, for research and stuff.”
Jackson smiled at her. With one hand he held the door open and with the other he took her hand, inviting her all the way into the locker room.
Jackson Ford: “Don’t mind the mess in here; some of these guys that I am forced to share this room with have no respect for others.”
Mia stifled a laugh and looked around while Jackson watched. It was plainly obvious that Jackson was attracted to her, even without him breaking his normal pre-match routine.
Jackson Ford: “Before a match I usually find a spot in the back where it is quiet and try to envision what may take place during the match.”
Mia Rivera: “Well that doesn’t sound too bad, really.”
Jackson Ford: “However with this being hardcore and all anything could happen.”
A stricken look crossed her pretty features for a second and then she shook her head, forcing a smile.
Mia Rivera: “I’m sure it’ll be fine. I mean, you won’t get too mangled or anything, right?”
He stood there quietly thinking and then cracked a smile as he shook his head.
Jackson Ford: “There is nothing to worry about. Over my career I have been in plenty of matches like this or worse and I am still standing.”
Mia Rivera: Oh… good.
She stepped in closer to him, taking his hand in hers for a second before stretching up on her tiptoes to whisper in his ear.
Mia Rivera: “Because I kinda prefer you alive and mobile. For… reasons.”
Jackson reached up and moved the strands of hair as they fell over her eye, tucking them behind her ear. That blush was still on her cheeks as he slowly caressed the side of her face. Their eyes locked and for a moment it looked like they might kiss before he said something in a low voice.
Jackson Ford: “I don’t know what your reasons might be, but I have to say that your beauty inspires me.”
She averted her eyes, pulling away slightly as she whispered a reply.
Mia Rivera: “You’re so sweet. Keep saying things like that and I might be inclined to break my rules and kiss you right here.”
He took a step back, worried he might have invaded her personal space.
Jackson Ford: “I apologize if I made you feel uncomfortable. I don’t know what got into me. I guess it is no secret that I like you and I want you to feel comfortable when you are near me.”
He stood there for a moment watching her. When she said nothing, he kept talking.
Jackson Ford: “Mia don’t lose your smile because it is a light and not just any light but my guiding light that allows me to strive to be a better person than I was the day before.”
Mia Rivera: “Oh no. I’m not uncomfortable. I’m just trying to keep my work life and my personal life apart. I’m sure you understand.”
Completely contradictory to her words, she grabbed a handful of his shirt and leaned in close, kissing him on the cheek. The moment might have been tender and perfect if not for the disdainful clearing of a throat from the doorway. Kitty Petrova stood there with a look of disgust on her face and her cell phone in her hand like she’d just snapped off a photo.
Kitty Petrova: “Well, well, if this isn’t a cozy little Kodak moment. Tell me, Pinky, does The Brain know you’re playing favourites with the employees?”
Jackson turned and glared at Kitty in disbelief.
Jackson Ford: “Kitty, leave her alone. It wasn’t anything like that. We both know she cannot control the outcome of the match. I think you are just looking for reasons for when I beat you and the other two idiots in the match tonight.”
Before Kitty can utter a response, Jackson turns his back to her, facing Mia.
Jackson Ford: “Mia don’t pay no attention to her. She’s clearly still stuck in high school. Would you like me to walk you back to your office?”
He missed Kitty rolling her eyes, silently mimicking him behind his back.
Mia Rivera: “No. That’s fine. You’ve got your match to get ready for.”
She glared pointedly at Kitty while reaching out to touch Jackson’s arm.
Mia Rivera: “I’d wish you luck, but it’s pretty clear you don’t need it.”
Mia made her way across the room, squeezing past Kitty in the doorway.
Kitty Petrova: “About that wager…”
Jackson stood there for a moment, before looking at her.
Jackson Ford: “I almost forgot about that but thanks for reminding me. I am not even sure if it’s worth a wager you probably won’t honor it after I win.”
Kitty Petrova: “Oh now, Jackson… are you saying you don’t think I’m capable of keeping my word? I’m hurt. Truly.”
Jackson Ford: “Your word means nothing, but call me curious. What do you want to wager?”
She smirked.
Kitty Petrova: “If you win, I’ll spend a week singing your praises on social media. If - when - I win? Same deal. Fair enough?”
Jackson Ford: “Well that’s fair. You should go and write down a list of praises for when I win. However if by some fluke neither of us win the bet is no longer valid. Now if you would I need to get ready for our match.”
Jackson turned and walked back into the locker room, shutting the door behind him. Kitty rolled her eyes, laughing as the door slammed in her face.
Kitty Petrova: “Mee-ow!”
ONE-ON-ONE
Remo Romero vs JT Midas
Midas came into the match looking to prove a point and he did it in record time, dominating Romero from the bell. The best part of the bout was by far when Romero tried in vain to turn the tide after a heavy-handed exchange. He scooped Midas up only to get a thumb to the eyes. Romero tried to regain control with a side headlock but Midas lifted him up on his shoulders and ran for the ropes only to release Romero at the last second. He hit the floor hard, his back taking the worst of the impact and then Midas launched, colliding with Romero on the floor for a twisting sit out powerbomb. The crowd went absolutely insane as he rolled the dead weight back into the ring, making the easy cover to advance into the main event match!
Victor: JT Midas (pin fall)
HARDCORE 4-WAY
Kitty Petrova vs PerZag vs Mr Hyde vs Jackson Ford
The match began with Mr Hyde and Jackson immediately going for each other, taking their brawling to the outside of the ring. Jackson retrieved a baseball bat but ate a steel chair to the skull from Hyde before he could use it. Hyde assaulted Jackson until the chair was bent out of shape.
In the ring, Kitty dominated PerZag, forcing him into the corner where she stomped him down to the mat. She pulled him up, scoring a fisherman buster. On the outside, Jackson tripped Hyde as he closed in with the baseball bat, sending him into the commentator's table. He followed with a running high knee that sent Hyde over the table and into the chairs behind.
Back in the ring again, and Kitty stalked PerZag. He rose and she moved to strike, but received a blatant low blow, which he followed with a fameasser, leaving both competitors down in the ring.
Meanwhile Jackson rounded the commentary table, laying Hyde onto the table itself. Grabbing the bat, he swung down hard, striking Hyde in his gut. Jackson moved to the ring apron, observing both Kitty and PerZag down, but electing to climb the turnbuckle, looking back at Hyde. He leaped, a frog splash, but misses as Hyde rolled and went through the table all by himself.
Kitty and PerZag both slowly rose to their feet, with Kitty knocked out to the ring apron with a dropkick. PerZag turned, seeing Hyde sliding into the ring, at was knocked down by Hyde's Chaser superkick. Hyde went for the pin, scoring only a two. As he stood, PerZag moved to his knees, attempting to get up. Hyde looked to be preparing his Final Hunt move but before he could, Ford reached under the ropes and yanked him from the ring. The two brawled on the outside, until Ford landed his Anti-Establishment move onto the shattered remnants of the commentary table, leaving both men grounded.
PerZag stood, groggy, and Kitty leaped up onto the rope, springboarding for her Liar Liar 720 DDT, drining PerZag head first into the mat. She made the cover and picked up the win!
Victor: Kitty Petrova (pin fall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Kitty is through!"
Charlotte Wilson: "Jackson and Hyde were so distracted with each other that she's sneaked the win!"
'The Shark': "Unbelievable foolishness from Ford and Hyde there. Unbelievable. But still, a good showing from Kitty."
Brad Tate: "Speaking of good showings, GM Vortex has stated in recent times that he's impressed with Helena Noir's performances. We know that she has a shot for the Heritage title at Revolution, where she'll face Summer. But before that, she faces Jonathon Cage here tonight."
Charlotte Wilson: "Where's your money at, Sharky?"
'The Shark': "Despite Cage's numerous years of experience, I can't look past Noir here."
ONE-ON-ONE
Jonathon Cage vs Helena Noir
Jonathon Cage vs Helena Noir
As the bell rang Cage struck quickly catching Helena off guard with a Missile Dropkick which sent her down to the mat. Cage picked Helena back up to her feet and whipped her into the ropes but missed the attempted Clothesline as Helena narrowly ducked under Cage’s arm and executed a well timed Swinging Neckbreaker. Helena attempted the cover but Cage kicked out at two.
Once both were back to their feet, Helena backed Cage into the corner with a quick flurry of chops and punches without giving Cage a second to respond. Cage attempted to free himself from his position trapped in the corner but Helena was like a woman possessed and relief did not come until the referee had got the four count forcing Helena to step back.
As Helena was distracted with the referee, Cage took the opportunity to blindside Helena with a Springboard Clothesline. He attempted a cover but only managed a two count before Helena kicked out forcefully.
The two continued to trade elbows and punches until Cage managed to get the upperhand and connected a well executed Inverted DDT. Before Cage could go for a second attempt at the three count Helena managed to flip the momentum in her favour and planted Cage with a cradle DDT, then locked him in a Guillotine Choke completing her Fondu Au Noir finisher. Cage attempted to reach the ropes but unsuccessful he had no choice other than to tap out.
Victor: Helena Noir (submission)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Helena is finally off the mark!"
Charlotte Wilson: "After two very narrow losses, I'm so happy to see her pick up that first win."
'The Shark': "And not only that, but Noir has proven that perhaps she really does deserve that title shot."
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The cameras come on to Lizzie Jones.
Lizzie: I am delighted to be here today with one of our newest signings, Chris Mosh! First of all, Chris, welcome to Victory Wrestling!
The camera zooms out as Chris Mosh smirks.
Mosh: Thanks Lizzie. It’s great to be here and can’t wait for my first match here at Victory Wrestling.
Lizzie: Chris, no doubt you’ll be a familiar face for some of the fans out there. But for those who are less familiar, could you tell me a little about your career to date?
Mosh: Well I started my career in CRW, where I had a great three years. There I was part of the first and youngest tag team champion ever and also won the Apex Championship. I also had a bitter rivalry with former friend Jacob Wilson. That company ended three years ago and I tried to find other promotions, which I sort of fell short in until someone pointed out Arizona State Wrestling. Now for you who are not familiar with ASW it was a developmental for Sin City wrestling and I did great there, so great that I had a world title shot, until once again they didn’t think we were getting a pop like the bigger promotion, so it closed letting us either wait for a contract to Sin City or go somewhere else which I got a contract with another company which once again I didn’t do well in. Moved around again. Then I heard CRW was reopening and went back for the big reopening which didn’t happen, which left me to wander over here to Victory, which looks like a pretty good fir for the “Party Boy”
Lizzie: As you mentioned, you’ve won titles before and you’ve also had low points before. Coming into Victory, what is your most immediate goal to achieve?
Mosh: Well Lizzie, it is just like everyone, it is to win the big one, the world title, yes I like the fame and money but I had that before this wrestling thing. But if anyone tells you there not in wrestling to win gold they are lying to you. Now I don’t care if I’m the number one contender or if I’m at the bottom of the barrel I will fight to win that gold.
Lizzie: I’d assume you’ve looked at our roster before joining. Who do you see as the biggest threat or threats to your goal of title glory?
Mosh: Well I did look over it a few times. I see some a few faces I know and some I don’t but everyone is a threat. I can’t underestimate anyone, if you think someone is weak and you look over them, they can pick up a win, so everyone is a threat, even if I like them or not.
Lizzie: Fair enough. You mentioned familiar names-anyone you’d be particularly keen to step into the ring with? Or maybe some you’d prefer to avoid?
Mosh: no not anyone in particular because I know I’m going to fight at least everyone at least once but we will see if that changes once I fight some of those people in the back.
Lizzie: Performing for a company like Victory sees you out in the ring before a crowd of a few thousand screaming fans. Do you fell that adds pressure, or is it an uplifting factor for you?
Mosh: It doesn’t bother me at all. If you remember, CRW was on television. I didn’t hear everyone but I knew people were watching me, I mean the more fans the more energy it gives me, I play of the fans, even if they hate me because if they don’t like me then I know at least I still got their attention one way or another. The only way it would pressure me is if I didn’t have people noticing me because then I’m not doing my job, so this doesn’t do anything, I mean a crowd is a crowd, if it is ten people or five million people it will just pump me up more when I need the power to get out of a hold or pin.
Lizzie: What about outside of the shows, fans stopping you in the street or recognizing you at a store, etc. is the something you embrace or something you find to be inconvenient or annoying.
Mosh: I love it when people stop me, I mean I’m the first person to usually show up and I’m outside tailgating with the fans. I love it when people want an autograph or a picture and I’m willing to give it to them. The only time it is annoying is when I’m out with my kids, Yes I know I’m famous and things but if I’m with my kids that is when I want my time. I have heard some people sometimes be like “ hey lets not bother Chris because he is out with his family’ and when I hear that I actually will stop those people and will actually take a picture with them and my kids. I mean it is just a courteous thing to do.
Lizzie: So tonight is Episode 003. Which matches are you most looking forward to seeing?
Mosh: Well I have seen the card for tonight and there are some pretty food matches but the one I can’t wait to see fi the JT Midas vs Remo Romero match because they are going to do the best they can so they can be in the main event tonight which is also going to be the match I’m really looking forward to as well.
Lizzie: Excellent. Chris do you have anything you’d like to say to the fans out there tonight?
Mosh: This is not only to the fans but to you and everyone else in the back…
Chris Smirks
Mosh: Get ready to party.
Lizzie: Awesome, thanks you Chris.
Mosh: No problem Lizzie
Chris Mosh walks off as camera zooms in on Lizzie.
Lizzie: Back to you guys at the table.
ONE-ON-ONE
Brooklyn Skye vs Aiden Morrow
Brooklyn Skye vs Aiden Morrow
Brooklyn grabbed Morrow by the shoulders, spun him around and nailed an implant DDT as the bell rang, kicking off the high-speed/high-impact contest. Morrow refused to stay down and the two got into an absolute slugfest trying to outdo the other until Morrow dodged a telegraphed strike and slapped Brooklyn into an effective hammerlock. Before Brooklyn had a chance to attempt a reversal, she found herself flat on her back thanks to a legsweep. She struggled back up and right into a Flying Morrow Smash! He hooked the leg but barely got one and a half before Brooklyn kicked up with authority.
As soon as the pair were back up, Morrow charged with a spear, but Brooklyn saw it coming a mile away and the referee ate the impact instead. Morrow whipped Brooklyn Skye at the ropes, connecting with a cross body block that sent her to the floor and then he followed her out with a plancha over the ropes just as Brooklyn was rising. She saw him, ducked and as he sailed over her back, Morrow caught her head for a stunner. He pulled her back up but she mule kicked the side of his knee, ruining the advantage as he stumbled back into the ring steps.
They came apart at the impact and Brooklyn shoved them aside, forcing Morrow back into the ring even though he's limping. The referee was finally back up, just starting the ring out count as Brooklyn tried to send him into the ropes but Morrow resisted, dropping down and pulling her face-first into his shoulder. He used that momentum to spin Brooklyn around and tiger suplexed her with enough force to shake the ropes.
Unable to capitalize because of the damage to his knee, he hesitated too long and Brooklyn got Morrow tied up into a kneelock submission. He caught the bottom rope as the crowd went insane again over the back and forth action. Forced to release the hold after a stern warning, Brooklyn left Morrow in pain on the mat and went to the top rope, looking for more high impact. She almost nailed a flawless rolling senton but Morrow caught her and reversed it into a NO FLX ZONE out of absolutely nowhere! The impact was so loud from the collision that it almost drowned out the crowd noise. Aiden Morrow got the three count, cementing a hard-earned victory over the tenacious Brooklyn Skye.
Victor: Aiden Morrow (pinfall)
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Another win for Aiden!"
Charlotte Wilson: "That earns him his third here in Victory, whilst handing Brooklyn her first loss."
'The Shark': "It will also give Morrow a huge confidence boost heading into Revolution, knowing he's already beaten on of his opponents."
BACKSTAGE SEGMENT
The crowd has a hush upon them which turns into loud cheers as "Shooting Star" by Owl City starts to play in the arena. The fans obviously are indy educated as they know who is coming out just by the music. Already smiling as she steps out from the entrance, Sarah Shipley takes a few steps out and raises her arms in the air. She drops her arms after a moment and makes her way to the ring acknowledging the fans by slapping their hands and even saying a few words to some of them. One of the fans has a sign that reads "#FaceOverHeels" that Sarah stops and points to before continuing to the ring steps. She gets into the ring and walks to the other end to request a microphone. She takes the mic and shakes the hand of the person who handed it to her and returns to the center of the ring as her music cuts.
Sarah: Well, hello, Charlotte!
The fans scream their approval as Sarah smiles and continues...
Sarah: I told you guys, I'd make it here and, well... I did!
The crowd continues to show their adoration as she begins to pace a little while speaking.
Sarah: Thank you all for this great reception. As you all know, I've left the independent scene and here I am starting off my career here in Victory Wrestling. I don't have a match, but that's alright because I will have one very soon and, besides, this gives me an opportunity to see the athletes we have here. I've had a chance to speak with a few of them already tonight and so far MOST have given me a warm welcome. Most because we always have the bad attitudes in with the good in any organization and this one is no exception. It's okay, though, because I have overcome those who weren't exactly the nicest people and I can and WILL do it again and again!
The crowd gets riled up with cheers again as Sarah stops pacing. After a few seconds, the crowd hushes to hear her out.
Sarah: It's true that not all of my matches will be in the spirit of competition, but I'll always be a pure athlete, pure entertainer, and have a pure heart. When I compete, my heart shows through which in turn equals great matches. Just as I display and represent a positive outlook in our industry, there are some who have found success through not so respectable means. I will find those people and deal with them in time because here lately this sport seems to have gone a little downhill. People argue with each other to the point of childish bickering, pull cheap shots in promos to get over, use such foul language, and even cheat in matches to win. Sure, it's been that way for as long as I can remember, but lately it's seemed to be more and more frequent than in the past.
The crowd boos in reaction to the empathetic feelings created from Sarah's words.
Sarah: It's been said a bad egg spoils the batch, but this will not happen here in Victory, no... The entire batch will never spoil as long as this babyfaced woman with her doe eyes is signed. I'm an egg without expiration and will always be the good one to keep the batch great. I'm not saying I'm the ONLY one like that in Victory Wrestling, but I can't speak for the constitutions of others. I do hope to make more friends than enemies here, but only the future holds the information on what will happen during my career. Staying positive and pushing back when I'm pushed are just a couple things I know for sure I will do in Victory Wrestling. Anywho... To my fans, I do want to say I love you all and appreciate your support as I transition from independent wrestler to mainstream. Good, bad, ugly, no matter what others think of the talent I'll be facing here, nobody can deny they are all extremely talented and I do respect them all that much. There is a new era starting in Victory Wrestling as I, Sarah Shipley, bring a bigger positive image like only the indy fans know I can.
"Shooting Star" plays again as Sarah hands off the mic and climbs the turnbuckles in one of the corners to celebrate with her cheering fans.
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "Next up is our final qualifying 4-way, and it's a Hell in a Cell, no less. Calvin Harris, MJ Braxton, Katie Anderson and JT Midas. Wow!"
Charlotte Wilson: "These four have no love lost between them. From the outspoken MJ to the anger of Katie. Add into that JT, who was impressive earlier, and then add Calvin Harris and you've got a surefire war."
HELL IN A CELL 4-WAY
Calvin Harris vs Mary-Jane Braxton vs Katie Anderson vs JT Midas
The match began with all four competitors brawling, until Katie and JT were both floored by MJ and Calvin respectively. Braxton and Harris then went at each other, with MJ forcing him down to the mat, using her quick feet to stomp and kick him, until he rolled from the ring to escape her. She looked to follow, but Midas grabbed her, locking her into a dragon sleeper that Katie broke up with a chopblock to Midas' knee. Katie looked to cover MJ, but she kicked out at two.
Pulling MJ to her feet, Katie went on the offence, culminating in a harsh DDT and followed up with a camel clutch. As she bent Braxton's back, Midas flattened her with a kick to the back of the head, sending her to her chest and out to the ringside, where Calvin picked her up and slammed her into the cell's structure, opening her forehead up. He looked to land his Art of Betrayal, but Katie reversed and dropped him to the floor. As he stood she took half a step back, scoring a superkick that sent him into the cell wall.
Katie took a second to catch her breath before moving back toward Calvin, who met her head on with a clothesline, knocking her to the mats. In the ring, JT scored a tornado DDT, grounding Braxton. He jumped up to the turnbuckle and leaped, but his 450 splash saw him crash into the mat. MJ scrambled to her feet, grabbing JT and hammering him with her Facetime finishing move.
She rolled him for the pin, but Calvin Harris slid into the ring and grabbed her, smashing her with his Art of Betrayal. As he landed the move, Katie leaped from the turnbuckle, her Falling Peach Blossom moonsault connecting to JT. Both stars made their respective covers. Confused about what to do, the referee counted with both hands, seemingly giving a three count to both Calvin and Katie.
The crowd both cheered and jeered, a reflection of the confusion. The referee headed to the ringside area and spoke to the ring announcer, who stated both Calvin and Katie were the winners.
Victors: Calvin Harris...and Katie Anderson.
As the match ends, Calvin blasts Katie with an Art of Betrayal, ending her celebrations before they began. He retreats through the cell door and up the entrance ramp, muttering to himself.
RINGSIDE SEGMENT
Brad Tate: "So wait...what?"
Charlotte Wilson: "Both go through?"
'The Shark': "Oh what a mess."
Brad Tate: "I'm sure Vortex will have plenty to say about this."
Charlotte Wilson: "But that will have to wait until our next outing. From all of us here at Victory Wrestling, goodnight!"
'The Shark': "Goodnight!"
