Katie is sitting at a restaurant table, she is wearing a thick sweater and blue jeans she smiles when she sees a gentleman walking up to the table, she stands and hugs the man warmly.
Katie: Hey daddy, thank you for meeting me
Katie kisses his cheek and pulls the seat out for her dad, he is in his Police Captain uniform he kisses Katie's cheek before sitting down.
Chris Anderson: Anytime baby girl, how are ya?
Katie: To be totally honest daddy, I haven't been sleeping well at night...I have had a lot on my mind, I can't turn my brain off at night
Chris Anderson: What's on your mind sweetie? Care to talk? I've always got time for you
Katie: I know DJ is coming here for Christmas, and I'm excited for you to meet her, I really think you'll like her but it's not just that there is something else on my mind
Katie looks away not knowing how to tell her dad what she's been thinking he takes her hand and smiles
Chris Anderson: What is it?
Katie: I really like and care about DJ, but I'm not sure if she is the one I want to be with she's such a sweetheart but Mel is single now and I feel like I should try to get her back. I still love her daddy, she's the first person I've ever really loved, I feel like I should take a chance to get her back. I know it sounds crazy but I miss her, I think about her all the time and I still reach for her at night. I don't want to hurt DJ but I don't want to pass up the chance to get back together with my first love.
Chris sits back and folds his arms as he listens, he takes a sip of his sweet tea that Katie had ordered for him before he arrived, he looks directly into her eyes
Chris Anderson: Let me ask you something. Do you really think Melissa will take you back? I'm not trying be mean baby but she broke up with you, there was a reason she did that. I know the break up was really hard for you Katie but you need to realize that it is over between the two of you. Delilah seems to care about you, it would not be fair to her or you if you don't give her a chance. Now I don't agree with your lifestyle but I love you and I want you to be happy, I honestly don't think you will be happy with Mel even if she took you back.
Katie's eye fill with tears as she listens to her dad, she didn't expect him to say what he said she expected him to support her like he usually did.
Katie: I know she broke up with me daddy! I just, I don't know I just feel like she needs me Chris hurt her and I feel like I can help her get over it. I can be there for her I miss her.
Chris leans forward and grabs Katie's hand again
Chris Anderson: Katherine Marie Anderson you are only twenty two years old, you have your entire life ahead of you I understand you feel like Mel was the love of your life, but obviously it wasn't meant to be she has moved on and you really need to as well. You can be there for Mel with out being her girlfriend, she needs a friend she doesn't need you trying to get in her pants again.
Tears flow from Katie's eyes as she listens to her dad
Katie: I don't want to just fuc...I don't want to just get in her pants dad! I asked her to marry me, she IS the love of my life! How do you know about that anyway you dumped mom.
Chris's face turns red
Chris Anderson: I am still your dad young lady, don't you ever speak to me like that again, I will still put you on your ass. You know why things didn't work out between your mom and I...I told you Mel broke up with you for a reason, it's great that you can still talk to her, it's great she wants you as a friend but that's just it Katie she wants you as a friend and not a girlfriend. You have someone who wants to be with you...Jackass and her name is DJ, not Melissa I like Mel, she's a good girl but she's just not the one for you baby. Hell DJ might not be the one for you but you owe it to her to at least give her a chance, I think if you give her a chance you will see she can make you very happy.
Katie sits back and wipes her eyes, she takes in everything he said she knows deep down that he is right
Katie: I still miss her daddy, it still hurts not like it did but it still hurts.
Chris stands and walks over to Katie hand lets her cry into his chest as he holds her he kisses the top of her head
Chris Anderson: It's gonna take time Katie, but I promise you that it will get better, relationships break up, it happens all the time sweetheart but you will make it through it. DJ wants to be with you, she obviously cares about you if she's willing to meet me, I promise I'll be nice to her.
They both laugh as Katie looks up at her dad and wipes her eyes again, she looks at his uniform shirt
Katie: Oh, I made your shirt wet with my tears I'm sorry
He chuckles as she wipes his shirt with a napkin
Chris Anderson: It's ok baby girl, it's just water now lets order something to eat, I have to get back to work.
Chris goes back to his seat and they order their food and sit and talk for the rest of lunch
Katie is standing in front of the tiger cage at the zoo, she watches as the tigers lay in the grass, she watches them intently a slight smile on her face as she watches, she looks into the camera.
They're beautiful aren't they? Right now the tigers are resting, they are getting along there is no competition for food or territory between them. But what happens when you take one of those tigers and put it in a smaller cage? Tigers by nature are territorial if you put it in a smaller cage it begins pacing back and forth it protects it's territory now say you throw not one but three other tigers into that small cage with it, what do you think happens? The four tigers fight, the rip each other to pieces and they don't stop until either all of them are dead or there is only one tiger left surviving.
Katie starts walking
You take four competitive people and put them in a cage what do you think will happen? They will rip everyone around them to pieces all to prove who is better, all for a shot at a championship belt. December 26th that is exactly what is gonna happen, I am not a fan of cage matches or Hell In A Cell matches but you know what? It doesn't matter what I like I have been put in this match and like the first tiger in a small cage the other three will be stepping into my territory, the will be trespassing into my domain and I will not allow that to happen. I will protect my territory, every time I step into the ring it is MY territory and I don't treat trespassers very kindly.
She stops walking and the camera zooms in onto her face, she has a smirk on her lips and her eyes are cold
Calvin Harris I don't know you, and to be honest I don't want to know you, all I do know is that you will be locked in a cage with me, how unlucky for you because if I have to I will go over, through or around you to get the win I will, it's nothing personal it's strictly business. But don't think for a second that because I don't know you I will take it easy on you because I won't you will be standing in my way, you will be standing in the way of something I want, I ALWAYS get what I want. So I will see you in the cell, I will see you in my territory and I will take you down.
She starts walking again
How can I forget there is a mystery opponent in this match the winner of the Romero and Midas match will get be entered, I really don't care who it is because those two idiots will probably beat the hell outta each other just for a chance to be in the main event that whoever wins won't be much of a factor. Again it's not personal I don't know either one of you, don't want to but if either of you get in my way I will show you how much of a mistake it was. In my opinion neither of you deserve a shot at the Championship but since one of you clowns are in the match I will do what I have to in order to have my hand raised at the end.
Katie's jaw clenches and her nostrils flare
Mary Jane Braxton....there really isn't anything I can say about you that I haven't already said, you know exactly how I feel about you, I can't stand your guts and I hope you die slowly and painfully, you get in my way and I will personally make sure that happens. This isn't the one on one rematch I wanted but it will do, I saw your eyes in our match you can deny it all you want but I saw your fear, you knew your couldn't take me down without doing something dirty so you took out my knee. Well sweetheart you can't run, you can't hide in the cell I promise you I will get my hands on you again...just be ready.
She stares into the camera
I honestly don't care about any of my opponents in this match, I don't care if the fans cheer or boo any of us they are so wishy washy it's not funny they love you one second then hate you the next, they can kiss my fluffy ass for all I care. I will be in the match for myself and myself only. When all the dust settles and the smoke clears there will be one person standing with their hand raised, one person moving on to a shot at the Championship belt. Will it be Harris? I don't think so will it be Romero or Midas? Nope will it be Braxton? FUCK NO! This is MY shot, MY chance to move on and be champion, I'm not gonna let any of you stop me from getting what I want. I'm not throwing away my shot!
She smirks
I look forward to seeing the three of you, I welcome the challenge this is a match I've never been in but it will be fun, I will not back down, I will not stop, I will keep going forward, the three of you will have to kill me to stop me good luck at that.
She laughs then walks off as the camera fades to black
Seconds ago in the middle of the ring a tag match had taken place. One that pitted Calvin Harris and Mary Jane Braxton on a team against the likes of Jackson Ford and Mr. Hyde. Neither team liked each other, but it seemed less likely that the team of Harris and Braxton would be able to pull off the victory. Yet then when people least expected that, the team did pull off the victory. To which mostly could be credited to Harris due to his actions. In that very moment though the man of the hour had come back through the gorilla position. Quickly beginning to tear the wrist tape that he had on his wrists off.
It didn’t take very long for Calvin to realize that there was a camera crew right there and the cameras on him. All about getting the exclusive backstage. Rolling his eyes slightly as he managed to tear the tape off and just throw it down in the hall where he started walking.
“You people just don’t give up do you?”
The tone of voice he used made him sound rather annoyed and irritated.
“First you wanted to be in my face over what happened with the referee blatantly screwing me over. Wanted to know how I felt about it. How I felt that nothing was properly being done. And wanted to know how I felt that because of that action. All my credibility had gone out the window. I was now the laughing stock of this hell hole company.”
Well one thing was a given that he didn’t change how he felt about the company as a whole. There was a good chance it wouldn’t be very long before he was reprimanded for his comments. Though at the same time it was a given Calvin was just one of those men that didn’t give a shit anymore.
“And let me take a wild guess, now you want to pester me about tonight? You want to get the exclusive on what I did out there? More importantly than that though. You want to ignore the fact that I carried the team. Put Mary Jane over as if she’s the greatest thing to ever come into this company and do everything you possibly can do to see to it that I don’t get the credit that I rightfully deserve.”
In that moment Calvin had reached the personalized locker room that he had been given for the night. He had stopped himself from going inside. For good reason though and a reason that resulted in his entire attention being placed on the cameras that had followed him all this time down the hall.
“Truth be told I deserve all the credit in the fucking world for what happened out there tonight. At any given moment I could have left MJ on her own. Hell, I could have not even showed up tonight which was the goal at the start of the week. But I was here and I did serve as a proper Tag Team partner. And had it not been for me. She would have had her ego shattered into a million pieces with a loss added to her name. Trust me when I tell you, I didn’t save her ass because it would have made me look bad. Because that isn’t the case. It would have been her that loss and not me, but I saved her ass because I did the right thing. Regardless of how much shit people will talk. I did the right thing and then gave her the win instead of taking it for myself. But it all boils down to had I not done the right thing she’d be in her feels right now after taking a loss.”
There was quite a bit of attitude that ranged out of him. It certainly let it be known just how fed up he was with things and how fed up he seemed to be with people involved with the company as a whole.
“That win tonight is because of me and me only. Much like in two weeks when I find myself in that Fatal Four Way. The win that comes will be by my hand and my hand alone. Only difference is that this time I’m not going to have to share the victory. This time I’m not going to have to do the right thing. This time I’m not going to have to worry about having to look over my shoulder to protect someone else. Instead I get to hurt every last person I’m in the ring with. I get to be in a position where not only I can win on my own and for myself, but be in a position where I can end careers and break egos.”
Calvin had this devious smirk spread across his lips for that brief moment.
“All in all though the single most important thing is when I win I’ll get the chance to go compete for the Heavyweight Championship. The same championship that’s going to end up going around my waist when I’m declared to be the first ever champion. Then people as irrelevant as the ones holding this camera will have no choice but to give me the credit that I deserve. Then the people that love to talk their bullshit on twitter will have to give me the credit that I deserve. Then the people that are considered my opponents will have to give me credit. And on top of that the man who is in charge that seemingly has an issue with me. Yet he doesn’t have the balls to say it. He’ll have to do what will pain him the most and give me credit where credit is due as I’m going to be the one leading his company.”
His confidence continued to ooze on out of him with every word that came out of his mouth. The same confidence that was bound to get him some type of heat with someone going forward.
“Soon... it will all play out the way it was meant to. Now get the fuck out of my face.”
Palming the camera lens with his hand and giving a forceful push. It caused the person holding the camera to lose their balance falling back onto the concrete floor. By the time the person was able to collect themselves and refocus the camera. Calvin had already stepped inside of the locker room resulting in him slamming the door shut. Then just like that the camera man was left with a footage to at least give to the man that ran everything. Might not got what they had wanted from Calvin, but they had something to go off of. At least until Episode 003 when things were bound to get interesting.
CHRISTMAS SPIRIT scene two
December 20th, 2016 Early Tuesday Morning
On his knees of the bedroom with Christmas wrapping paper in front of him. Calvin had placed an awkward looking box in the middle of the wrapping paper and started to pull the paper up over the top of the box. Though do to the size and the awkwardness of the shape it wasn’t going to be easy. He yanked on the Christmas paper a little aggressively to try and pull some of it up. In doing so it managed to rip the paper.
“Goddamnit!”
Calvin stated aggressively. More than enough frustration coming out of him at that particular moment. Granted that had a lot to do with this wasn’t the first time this had happened. Alessandra looked over her shoulder from where she was sitting and found herself giggling out loud.
“Having trouble love?”
“Kiss my ass, woman.”
“My-my. Someone sounds like they’re certainly in the Christmas spirit.”
His eyes shot her a glare for that brief moment before he found himself standing up away from the present and the wrapping paper. It was clear that he needed a little bit of a breather. Reaching out to grab his phone off the middle of the bed.
“Can’t we just have stuff put in big bags with all that inner wrapping paper stuff going inside?”
“No, we cannot. One that’s just a short cut. Two, there’s no way that bags are going to fit that gigantic my little pony, you had to buy her for Christmas. And three, VP loves tearing the wrapping paper up. We can’t deprive her of that.”
“I didn’t say deprive her of anything, but she’s also not the one that’s got to spend all these hours wrapping the gifts in the first place.”
“You realize you’re starting to sound like the Grinch right now right? Not the lame Jim Carrey version, but the legit Grinch. It’s a tad bit unappealing. Maybe I need to break out some mistletoe and kiss you under it to improve your mood.”
Alessandra got way too much join out of giving him a hard time. Though, the last little bit of the conversation that she was trying to have with him had gotten ignored. The reason it had gotten ignored was because of the message that had been sent to his phone.
TEXT MESSAGE:
** BREAKING NEWS **
It has been decided by Vortex and his staff that on Episode 003. JT Midas and Remo Romero will battle one another with the winner earning the final spot in the Hell in the Cell Fatal Four Way Main Event!
Staring at that message for a couple of seconds had lead to rage building inside of him. So much rage that he had lashed out beyond his own control.
“This is fucking bullshit!”
Squeezing his phone in his hand in a very frustrated manner. Alessandra found herself shooting up from the seated position she was on on the floor and glared at him.
“Are you trying to wake a three year old up at two in the morning?!”
“No, but it’s just...”
“Whatever it is. I’m sure you can be a grown twenty eight year old man and control your temper, especially when we’re in the middle of wrapping Christmas presents for a child. We get hardly anytime to ourselves. You wake her up now and we’ll get nothing done tonight.”
She kind of had a right to scold him, it was way too late for him to be getting loud especially with a toddler in the house. Yet at the same time in his defense he had a reason to lash out and feel the way he did following that text message. He tossed the phone down on the bed shaking his head in frustration.
“My bad.”
“You’re right it is, but I forgive you. However what has you acting foolishly at two am?”
“It’s just work related shit. More or less a worthless piece of shit is being given an opportunity that he doesn’t deserve to have after pissing the first one away.”
“Babe, are you really that surprised? That happens all the time in wrestling. That’s been happening way before our time. No need to react that way when it’s something that isn’t going to change.”
“Well when it’s going to direct effect the match that I’m in. Then yeah, there’s a reason to be heated about it. Especially considering that the piece of shit that could end up in my match is the same piece of shit I got fucked over for several weeks back.”
“Ahhh... you’re talking about Victory.”
Her face had a bit of a more relaxed expression on it now. Almost like she was more understanding of him lashing out than what she was only a few seconds ago. Making her way over to where he was standing, she looked up at him.
“Babe, I know that I offered my advice a couple weeks ago. I know I told you to do whatever you wanted to do and whatever you felt was best. I simply didn’t want you to walk out on what made you happy, regardless of some of the things that might have been considered unfair. But at the same time my outlook has changed a little sense then. Not to mention what I saw out of the man in charge and some of the employees that work there. The place isn’t very accepting and in my opinion isn’t very deserving of your talent.”
“You think so?”
“I think that you’re damn good at what you do in that ring and I think that you could accomplish anything you want, but at the same time I also think that if you feel like things are unfair. Then you’re always going to be unhappy working there. If you’re always unhappy working there then you’re not going to give your best. And if you’re lacking in performance, then you’re making yourself look bad. While at the same time giving them a reason to continue to hold back. To me it seems like one big domino effect.”
“Then what exactly are you trying to say, Aless?”
“I’m saying that if you aren’t happy, then there’s no point in wasting your time and your efforts in a place you’re not happy in. Life’s too short for that, Calvin.”
She gave him a gentle smile. Seemingly saying everything that it needed to say, without saying anything else. That left Calvin with a decision to make because what she was saying did make sense. He kept trying to hold on. He kept trying to hold out. He kept trying to force things. He felt like he was doing the right thing. But at the same time in doing the right thing it made him more and more miserable. Something had to give one way or the other. Alessandra began snapping her fingers in his face to gain his attention due to him spacing off.
“Earth to Calvin!”
“Yeah babe? I’m sorry, got lost in my thoughts.”
“No kidding, but right now you can focus on what’s important. Getting this presents done. Work related stuff can wait till when you leave... If you leave that is.”
Her words seemed to have alluded a little more to the decision that he needed to make. Before she marched herself back over to her “work station” for the lack of a better term and dropping down to her knees to go back to wrapping presents. Calvin stood there for just a couple seconds longer letting this register in his mind on what it is that he needed to do. He was the only one that could make the decision and before long it was going to have to be made before it all blew up in his face. Forcing himself to put it in the back of his mind for now. He found himself taking a seat back on the floor and grabbing that awkward box as well as the wrapping paper pulling it back towards him to put focus on what mattered the most right now.
THE END OF MY ROPE scene three
December 24th, 2016 Saturday Evening
“Here I am on Christmas Eve and instead of being at home with my family where I belong. I’m here...”
Moving his head out of the way for that brief second to show off the Victory Studios arena behind him. Made perfect sense considering tonight in Charlotte was the taping for Episode 003.
“Ever since the first night I stepped into this company I have severely regretted leaving on a plane to come here. As I said before I was on the verge of quitting and leaving this company behind without a trace. Yet, I was talked out of it and talked into doing the right as well as the professional thing. Although that’s the case it doesn’t mean that my views nor does it change how I feel about the company in general. Like for example, I think it’s stupid they booked a wrestling show on a holiday and forcing everyone to be away from their families. But what do I know right?”
Rolling his eyes a little bit.
“The one saving grace about tonight is the position that I find myself in. I once again find myself in the Main Event, which is something that I should have been in the week before. After all as far as I am concerned, I am the only main event worthy start within this entire company. It sure as hell isn’t someone like JT Midas. It sure as hell isn’t Kitty Petrova. It sure as hell isn’t Jackson Ford, Mr. Hyde, Aiden Morrow, Brooklyn Skye, or any other worthless clown on this roster. I am the real main event star. Much like I am the only one that’s actually worthy of competing for the Heavyweight Championship that is supposedly going to be finding a home around someone’s waist come the Revolution event. Course, by no means am I surprised by this. The company doesn’t seem to think so.”
There was a small amount of bitterness that came out of his lips when he spoke. At this point it wasn’t that surprising to say the very least. He sounded more and more bitter as things went on.
“No instead this company seems to think that I’m just some worthless piece of shit. They think that I’m just some random fucking jobber. They seem to think that I’ve got no value to them at all. All of that has been proven by the way I have been treated and the way the company has gone out of their way to tear me down and to ruin any credibility that I had. They were successful on Episode One but it backfired on them at Episode Two. Much like I intend for it to backfire on them again. Tonight, when I go into that Hell in a Cell match. They already have it pegged out that I’m going to fail. They already got it pegged out I’m going to lose.
And that’s what they want the most. If I lose then I won’t get the chance to go on to Revolution in order to compete for that Heavyweight Championship. Yet little do they know. I’ve competed in a Hell in a Cell match once before. Competed in one after competing in two other matches before that and then managed to find myself winning that Hell in a Cell match. That right there shows the amount of toughness I have as a human being and as a wrestler. If I could do that then, then you can best believe that I can do it again in a match where I’m a hundred percent fresh.”
Licking his lips briefly with a small smirk spread across his lips. That ego of his was starting to flare up just a little bit. The same ego that at times made him a person where people simply could not stand him.
“Though based on who they have put me in the ring with. They still think that I’m going to be the one losing at the end of the night. And why wouldn’t they especially when they’re riding Mary Jane’s dick. From the moment that she came into this company she has been treated as if she was a goddess of some kind. Treated as if she was one of the best wrestlers that have ever existed. Treated her as if she’s just the overall best that this business has to offer. Yet in my opinion they don’t have a reason for treating her that way. They don’t have a legitimate reason to ride said dick and don’t have a reason to feed into the ego.
If one would look at what she’s accomplished since she’s come into Victory. It would be very easily to tell that she’s not all that great. She’s only had one victory under her belt in which she had to do things on her own. On Episode One, she managed to defeat Katie Anderson. Which to be honest with you. Anderson is that one wrestler on the roster that you know you can beat before you even bother to look into their history. She’s one of those people that just has a reputation for being a known loser and known for being worthless to any company she works for. It’s an easy win, if you get what I’m saying.
Basically what I’m getting at is the only win that Mary Jane has on her own was a win that was handed to her. It was a win that was fed to her. A win that she didn’t have to work for. So, that by no means whatsoever classifies her as one of the greatest to ever do this. If anything it should make her look weak. Actually should make her look weaker than Anderson considering she has to be given a win instead of making her work for it. But at the same time I guess I can’t talk too much shit considering that I’m part of the problem. Considering that I enabled Mary Jane on Episode Two when I gave her a win.”
His hands ran through that long jet black hair of his, quite possibly out of frustration more than anything else. Not that anyone could blame him. Talking about Mary Jane was a very frustrating situation to say the least, especially when you broke it down the way that he was.
“Here we are two weeks later and I realize now more than ever I should have let Mary Jane take that loss on Episode Two. It would have snapped her ego in half like a twig. To me it would have been rather amusing to see her entire world come crashing down around her. Maybe that’s the sadist in me. Maybe I’d be wrong for getting joy out of that. But at the same time I didn’t let that happen, I enabled Mary Jane by seeing to it that she got a victory. Granted, my intentions were more so for my own benefit. For I wanted to see to it that I was the one that broke her ego and I wanted to be the first one to cost her a loss.
Not to mention, I thought by doing the right thing it was going to benefit me in the end but now more than ever I see that isn’t the case. At the same time what’s done is done and there’s no point in dwelling on the past. But the point still remains that Mary Jane has done next to nothing to prove her worth. She’s been handed both wins of her career here in Victory Wrestling. That right there speaks volumes about her character and speaks volumes about her abilities. She can brag about being undefeated all she wants. She can talk all that trash on twitter. She can make herself sound like a bad ass as much as she wants.
But as long as I am part of Victory Wrestling. As long as I’m in any company that she’s in. You can bet your ass that I am going to expose the truth about her every single chance I get. Just like every single chance I get where we may find ourselves in the ring with each other. I am going to take the chance and the opportunity to pick that worthless bitch up before dropping her down on her head and neck. Hoping and praying that each time that I do. I snap her neck just like I snap her ego and leave her in a state where she’s bound to a wheelchair and has to eat through a feeding tube for the rest of her pathetic life.”
The amount of respect that Calvin seemed to have for Braxton appeared to be on level zero. One could only imagine the things that were going to come out of her mouth in return.
“I challenge you to prove me wrong MJ. For once in your life stop hiding behind twitter. Stop hiding behind your friends. Stop hiding behind the ass kissing that you do. Instead get in the ring and attempt to prove me wrong. Attempt to prove to me that you can win on your own without a win being handed to you. Attempt to prove to me that you do have what it takes to be great. Or just do what I know you’re going to do, choke under the pressure, and allow me to have my hand raised in victory at the end of the night.”
A small smirk spread across the man’s lips for that brief second. The challenge had been laid out, and even with MJ being disliked. There was a pretty good chance when tonight finally happened. Fans were going to behind her just for the sake of seeing to it that Calvin ended up being wrong and seeing to it that he lost.
“That brings me back to Katie who to be honest is a bigger joke than Mary Jane is. I can’t even begin to imagine why the man in charge would consider Katie for this situation. Don’t know why she would be considered to take place in this small tournament. I don’t know why she was considered for the Fatal Four Way. Better yet, I even wonder why the hell she was signed to a contract in the first place. The only legitimate purpose she would have for Victory or any other wrestling company is so someone could have an automatic victory. Kind of like the automatic victory that MJ got when they faced off a few weeks back. Other than that Katie isn’t someone that belongs in the wrestling business. Best bet for her would to be retire before she even shows up tonight.”
By no means should it have been a surprise, but the disrespectful nature had continued to ooze on out of the man they called the Martyr.
“Allow my words to get under your skin, Katie. In fact I am counting on it considering that you don’t have tough skin to begin with. You’re the type to whine and cry, the moment that someone doesn’t cater to you. You’re the type to start bitching and moaning about people picking on you because they don’t give you what you want. You’re the type to start having a melt down when someone doesn’t make you out to be the threat that you’ve managed to convince yourself that you are. I am willing to bet that the moment this is leaked to the public. You’re going to march into Vortex’s office and start crying like a bitch.
But at the same time Katie, because I know that’s going to be the case. Because I expect it, then whatever so called punishment comes my way because I’m someone that speaks out about the things and the people I don’t like. I’ll already be prepared to take it. Whereas you on the other hand are still going to have to climb inside that Hell in the Cell structure. You’re still going to have to be in the ring with people that are tons and tons better than you are. And most of all, you’re still going to have to deal with me. Which I can assure the amount of punishment I dish out to you is going to be ten times worse because you’re a crying cunt.
And that means that you’ve got no chance at survival. I’m going to enjoy grabbing you by that long hair of yours and bash your face off the steel of the cell. Over and over and over again until blood begins to trickle down your face, coating it with the crimson mask as they say. I’m going to get satisfaction in tossing your body into that unforgiving steel over and over again until your body is so worn out that you cannot physically bring yourself to be able to stand up. Then once you’re in that position to which you can’t stand, covered in blood, and unable to continue. That’s when I’ll put you out of your misery with a smile on my face.”
Keeping his eyes locked on the cameras that were before him. The sense of pride that he had in him when he spoke was very-very clear. At this point it shouldn’t have been a surprise that he found himself getting off on hurting people. Nearly every word that he ever spoke going into a match. It was geared towards severally hurting someone for his own personal gain. And it didn’t appear that anything would be changing anytime soon.
“I don’t need to waste anymore time on someone that could easily be considered the biggest waste of space in this match, but with that being said. That brings me to the biggest bullshit that involves this match. Nevermind the fact that we are being put inside Hell in a Cell without any reason. Other than to glorify the match and attempt to get my views, but I’m talking about the fact that none of us know who will be joining us in the match. We won’t know until we watch Remo Romero and JT Midas go up against each other. And regardless of what I have said about MJ and Katie being trash. These two truly don’t belong in this match. Allowing them in the match does nothing but disrespect those that do deserve to be here.
Neither Remo or JT deserve to be part of the fatal four way, in which whomever wins this match gets the chance to go to Revolution and compete for the Heavyweight Championship. For the two of them to be involved with this is unfair and I’d even say it’s quite biased. You see the last time I checked on Episode 001, Remo was a no show. He was set to compete that night. Matter of fact his opponent was a no show that night as well and lead to a match having to be cancelled. There was no reason given. No public apology was made to the company. Nothing happened and in my opinion Remo showed his worth. As well as showed that he didn’t seem to care about commitment or respect the company he was meant to work for.”
A small narrow of his eyes could be seen.
“But apparently according to the company he’s more than deserving, all because he showed up a couple weeks ago. The way I was taught and the way I was raised in this business was you always showed respect. You always fulfilled your commitments. You always work hard. Then and only then does all the hard work begin to pay off, but that doesn’t seem to be the case for Victory Wrestling. They’ll hand out opportunities to people that are lazy and clearly spit in their faces. Pretty fucking pathetic if you ask me and honestly, I don’t give a damn who that pisses off. Remo, you are unworthy and undeserving of being in this match. You’re undeserving to have any chance at any championship this company has to offer after the way. Yet most of all you’re undeserving and unworthy of sharing a ring with me. If that makes me sound arrogant or conceited or like a jackass. Then so be it. You disrespect the business, then you disrespect me, and therefore I want nothing to do with you.”
Sure enough there were going to be quite a few people that referred to everything that he was doing at this particular moment as ego fueled, but at the same time it appeared that the Martyr had his basis covered. He was well aware of what it could sound like, to which he was alright with taking the backlash.
“However if I were to be honest with you, Remo. Although, I don’t feel like you’re worthy of being in a position like this. I’ll be rooting for you, before I’ll root for JT Midas. As far as I’m concerned JT Midas is a fucking scumbag. The worst time of scumbag at that. First night in the company, he carried himself as if he was one of the best to ever lace a pair of boots. He carried himself to be a man of a sophisticated lifestyle. Sure, he was a little smug. A little prickish. Sure, he had an ego. But the way he carried himself is as if he could back up in the ring. For that I could respect him for.
In fact originally JT was the only man in this company that I felt that I could respect. And then I stepped into the ring with him, only to find out that he wasn’t everything that he claimed to be. As well as find out that he’s a coward. Instead of beating me straight up that night. Instead of showing that he was a man of a certain caliber. Instead of proving that he was everything that he said that he was. He chose to turn the other cheek and not do the right thing when the referee screwed me over with a fast count. And sure there’s going to be those few people that will come running to his aid.
You know the people that will say that he can’t control what happened. Those people that will say that it was something that was completely beyond his control. Maybe that’s the case. Maybe you’ve got a point, but at the same time he was just as crooked as the fucking referee. He didn’t bother to stop the count when it was clearly fast. He didn’t confront the referee during the match. He didn’t speak out against the situation where he was clearly giving a win that he didn’t deserve to have. Hell, the piece of shit didn’t even offer me a one on one match with a fair and unbiased referee. No, instead he took the win and then gloated.”
Simply shaking his head from side to side, the amount of frustration that was starting to build back up in him was pretty visible.
“Based off that JT has no right to be able to compete for a future title shot. He’s a snake in the grass and the worst possible person you could have representing your company. If he’s willing to take wins being handed to him by shady officials, then you already know he’ll cut corners as champion. And people want to talk about how I make this company look bad. Trust me having JT as your champion would ruin any credibility Victory Wrestling had. Right now I’m the only one that brings credibility to this company. Sooner you realize that, the better off you’ll be.
But you know it’s not just that. It’s not just the personal vendetta I have against him, but it also has to do with what took place on Episode Two. He had his chance to compete in a Fatal Four Way. He had his chance to win a match and go on to Revolution. He had his chance to make an impression and see to it that he was competing for the Heavyweight Championship. Then he didn’t manage to make it to his match. And I know that’s because he was attacked by someone from behind. Well, I don’t have any fucking sympathy for him at all. Zero sympathy and whoever attacked him it was most likely because he deserved it.
He had clearly done something to someone and pissed them off to the point that they decided to attack him from behind. Only issue I have with the attack is the fact that the person who did it didn’t have the balls to let it be known it was them. If it had been me, then I’d owned up to it. But that’s whatever at the end of the day. Way, I see it JT clearly had it coming and because he had it coming. It made him unable to compete. Essentially when you think about it. He no showed a match. He didn’t fulfill his commitments and regardless of what his reasoning was. It wasn’t good enough to miss a scheduled match.”
Calvin sounded just about as insensitive as you could get. There was bound to be someone that had something to say about that, but at the same it went right along with everything that comes with Calvin’s attitude. He did not have a care for who he did or who he didn’t offend.
“Had that been me, had I been attacked from behind and unable to compete. I wouldn’t have been given a chance to redeem myself. I wouldn’t have been given a chance to compete in a Fatal Four Way. I damn sure wouldn’t be given the chance to get a shot at competing for the Heavyweight Championship. Granted, that has everything to do with the man in charge and the company having an obvious personal vendetta against me. Point being though, I wouldn’t have been given that opportunity and therefore it should be all across the board for everyone. JT didn’t fulfill a commitment and is unworthy of the main event.
And more so than anything, I don’t want JT ever in a match with me again. I was screwed over once for him, it wouldn’t be surprising if I was screwed over a second time for him. This time it’ll just be a little more discreet where Vortex doesn’t get fucking called out for it. Because after all it’s a given that you can’t speak out against the man in charge or he’ll get butt hurt and start to threaten you. Obviously, JT is his boy. He just has to find a way to make it less known. Therefore I truly do hope that Remo doesn’t drop the ball, or doesn’t suddenly miss his flight for this show like he did for the first show.
But at the same time I’ve already prepared myself for him to drop the ball. I’ve already prepared myself for JT to find a loophole of some kind and find himself in the main event. I’ve already prepared myself to be in a situation where I could easily get fucked over. Yet because I know that’s the situation I could be involved in and because I’ve prepared myself. Then it’s a given that I am going to be one of the most dangerous men that this company has ever seen. One of the most dangerous men that anyone has ever seen. JT, you took a short cut once before but that short cut was also a shortcut to you being put on life support.”
His eyes narrowed when he made that comment. The attitude still coming out of him and basically giving people a warning to what could end up happening by the end of the night.
“My entire career has been defined by being screwed over, by being held down, by management choosing favorites, and by other undeserving getting opportunities that I should have been getting. That’s been happening since two thousand twelve. Nearly five years now. Five years of being robbed of the things I wanted most, but that ends here. I’ll either win this match and get my shot at that Heavyweight Championship. OR I’ll be leaving Victory Wrestling for a company that’s actually going to respect my talent. Say what you want about me, but I’ve finally had enough. Simply put I’ve reached the end of my rope.”
The intense look in his eyes at that moment pretty much explained it all. Calvin wasn’t playing any games. He was dead serious about the words that had come out of his mouth. Either tonight things were going to work into his favor where he got the chance to go on to the Revolution event to compete for the championship. The championship that he truly believed that he had every right to be competing for. Or it would turn out to be his final night working with Victory Wrestling. A go big or go home situation is what he was putting himself in. With the cameras fading at that moment it left the crowd to wonder what was going to happen.
